    Where did you get the main body to start with? My first car was a 73 Gran Sport stage 1. I would love to build a model of it.

    Here it is finished. This was my first Aoshima kit. It was pretty high quality everything fit just about perfect. The decals seemed to lack color and detail though.

    They actually just kind of fit on the top thread well enough that I didn't need an arbor or anything to lock them down

    I used 5 minute epoxy to glue the discs together. I set the assembled disc on top of my dremel with no collet and ran it at a low speed and while it was spinning lightly touched it with 220 grit sandpaper.

    I used zero paints. I had to strip it down and redo it. Zero paints are very hot and the tamiya peimer didn't provide enough barrier. Plasti cote fillee primer works. It is a 3 stage lamborghini color.

    So did you have a steering rack or linkage on yours?

    Yes, the ones that I have are already painted. What did you to attach the steering arms ?
