Oh, ok. Thanks. My modeling skills aren't where I would like them to be. So I'm always looking for suggestions. I clearcoated all of the parts separately this afternoon. Most of them turned out pretty well except for the nose and the doors had some areas where the black was kind of transparent to the white primer and plastic.

Yes, parts were washed. I used the tamiya acrylic thinner. Moisture in the line may be the problem.

Im painting some parts and for some reason I have these splotches or rings in the paint. I'm using tamiya x18 thinned 2:1 through my airbrush. The plastic was finished in 1000 grit and grey scuff pad. No primer. Does anyone know why this happened? Is it becase I didnt prime first ?

What does everyone use for holding really small parts for painting ?

It would be awesome if companies like Revell made kits of these.

Do these coolant lines go to anything ? Do they just end underneath the radiator ?

Thanks, I wasn't sure. There are holes there that look like they would take screws.

Another question. How are the rear wheels held on ? Glue? The fronts have screws but the directions show no screws for the rears.

How do you make weld beads ?

I'm beginning building a Trumpeter GT40. I've started with working on the way that the body panels fit. I've also stripped all of the chrome parts. I am trial building it with white glue to find the problems first. I plan on building it like the black 66 LeMans car it's supposed to be.
