1956 Chevy Del Ray I love this build. I saw one just like it in Charlotte a few years back. I have to re do the interrior, but for the most part I think it looks great.

I know the feeling I recently ran out of space myself. -
Paint prices
Hard_2_Handle_454 replied to mrindy77's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
For me I just buy the small paint bottles and they're abou $3 at the shops now! -
They're based off the 69 Charger 500, but I believe they were introduced as the 1970 model line. Both the Daytona and the Superbird were one year only cars and the 70 Superbird was based off the 1970 Road Runner so I imagine that the Daytona would be classified as a 1970 version of a Charger. Similar to how Shelby recycled the 1969 GT-500 into the 1970 Shelby.

It's an older build; I think it got damaged when I moved.

This is my friend's favorite car of my collection. It was one of my first builds, and one of my best.

Sweet! Good choice of color

Thanks everyone. This was actually a second build of this model. I screwed up with the paint on the first one I bought,

Not used to my camera yet. Haven't had it too long.

Since there's already been one posted today I thought I'd post my 71 CXharger too. This is my 2nd favorite of my car models and probably my best build so far.

Street Versions of Vintage Racers
Hard_2_Handle_454 replied to Hard_2_Handle_454's topic in WIP: NASCAR
I kinda think it would look better with a spoiler like the Cyclones had, but I couldn't find one to fit it. -
Street versions of some famous race cars of the era. Stock car racers Plymouth Superbird, Daytona Charger, and Torino. Also, the racing circuit Cobra.

I'm around build 45 now. I was just stating that I remebered it being my 2nd car model I ever built. That's why the paint isn't quite right. I'm proud of it though, and it's one of my favorites of the 40+ I have. I'll be adding photos on her of some of my more favorite models for the next few weeks to come.

This was my second ever car model build. Sorry For any bluring in the image. I'm not used to my camera yet.
