  2. Read the beginning of the thread

  4. Thats the 2nd of the Mack kit also. My 1st one is sealed and it wont be opened. This one is opened with a few pieces started, so I dont feel bad about building it. My 1st mixer will be box stock with a resin needle nose hood and some AITM wheels. This one will be completely box stock with resin wheels. I also have a C500 Kw mixer planned to be the big brother of these two, all wearing the box art. The Mack will be built to box art as well with resin wheels all around.
  5. Heres a few more I managed to grab this week. This will be it for me for a little while. I bought another Ford finally. The first I had went to be a donor for the 9000 cabover conversion. The sleeper and wrecker body is up for grabs. I managed to finally score a 2nd one of these.
  6. Thats a clean little rig. The colors really look great. The mesh looks great as well. Great job.
  7. Here are a few shots of the progress. This is the stock chassis, with stock cab position and stock bed position. The box will fit snug with no gap.
  8. Just keep an eye on the seller, Im sure theyll bust up the lot and sell them individually. The only way I can see this selling is if a hobby shop buys it.
  9. This was actually Eric Burden and the Animals first. The first version I ever heard was by a band called the Obsessed. You should give it a listen. I have never heard Grand Funks version. Guess I need to give that a listen
  10. Congrats Sean! I know youve been huntin that one
  11. Im almost done with it and ready to mould. Im making a tower to move the lightbar to the top of the tool box. Ill post some pics today.
  12. Clayton, just a suggestion, It would be cool if you cut one of those cabovers to a daycab and hitch it to that gravel trailer.
  13. That is a good swoop Tom. There are some great kits there.
  14. I keep it at a reasonable price. I have a rule, if its below my price I grab it. If its a dollar above, Ive got plenty of them already. Let someone else have it. Sometimes one slips by that no one sees........
  15. It should be ready in the next few weeks, but bear with me the wifes got me repainting the house. Included with the kit will be the cab, bumper, interior tub, dash board, Farr air cleaner, roof a/c, 2 fuel tanks, 2 battery boxes, and 5 Brockway emblems.
  16. They are my own casting. Just something I whipped up on a lathe, and moulded them. They are made to fit the AMT spokes.
  17. I didnt know Springfield was even at Monterey. All anyone talks about is Hendrix and the Who, and Janis, and Otis. I knew Jefferson Airplane, and The Birds were there (crosby had an STP sticker on his guitar)but thats all I remember.
  18. Im totally kidding, but you need one under the cab to keep it from breaking in half. I didnt realize it was already a tri axle at first. Thats a very long rig.
  19. Heres a few more ebay grabs. Ill probably cut the KW down to a daycab. As for the trailer, its just going in my stash for now. Heres a first gear Mack B61. I like grabbing these when I can. I buy them for the wrecker bodies, then rebuild the truck. I grind off all of mounting tabs, and glue it together.
  20. Ill go first, heres a few ebay grabs from the last few weeks. I can never have too many of these. Heres two kits I grabbed from the show this past saturday. This was literally the only two truck related kits in a sea of airplanes and tanks. The IH is rare, and I dont have this issue of the dozer.
  21. I got the front spokes mounted. I have to say, I think the 6 spokes are my favorite of AMT front wheels.I mocked up with the resin wheels. Its a good thing I raised the front suspension, because the tires would be rubbing the fenders.
