  1. That looks great!!! Nice & clean build.
  2. Thanks Bill, Bill, and Sean!!!
  3. Man, you do really cool stuff in plastic!!! Very impressive builds.
  4. That's really cool Curt!!! Great job on the whole build, but those wheels are awesome.
  5. Thanks for sharing James!!! Love all the extra work you did!!!
  6. Not building the same as everybody else is what makes us unique, and your one unique kinda guy Virgil!!! Definitely different, but fun too. Love that amp.
  7. Thanks again for all the great replies!!!
  8. Thanks Chuck, I knew you would like this one. There was quite a bit of work to create a correct version, but it had to be done.... Here's a couple shots of the chassis, I used the radius rods from another Outcast kit, and the rear axle and drum brakes from an AMT '53 Ford p-up, everything else is scratched up. It's the only way to get this car right.
  9. Bob, the chassis under the R.J version is the chassis from the Fire Truck kit, the MPC Paddy Wagon, and the original Tognotti T. I scratch built the chassis under the Fire Truck. Thanks for all the great replies!!!
  10. And..... Here's what came of the leftover parts after building the Fire Truck...... The Rodder's Journal delivery.
  11. I set out to finally create a "Correct" (or darn close) Version of the REAL Fire Truck. The kit is the third MPC revamp of the Tognotti T chassis and engine, which isn't even close to what the real car had. Without going through a long history lesson on the kit, I took the main parts, body/ interior, rear wheels, an original set of MPC slicks, and various evergreen plastics, put 'em in a bag, shook vigorously, and here's what came out!!! The real deal The model part 2 coming ---->
  12. Bill, that looks way better man!!! I've Got an "almost" finished one sitting here that I started some twenty years ago, maybe I'll have to finally finish it. If I remember right it went together nicely......Thanks for the inspiration pal!
  13. Beautiful build Bill!!! I'll bet it looks great with your Wilhelm's "Wild Dream". I've got that double kit, and plan to build 'em both someday. Great job man.
  14. A little creepy in a way, but astonishing just the same. Thanks Doc!
  15. Didn't anybody notice the Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins '66 Nova?
  16. Beautiful builds Mark!!! I used to build tons of 43rd kits, not so much these days. The Starter kits were not the greatest, but they did build up nice models with a little effort, and they kitted many of the great Groupe C, IMSA GTP cars of the day.
  17. NICE!!!
  18. I think you just might be the original inventor of "Pro-Touring"!!! Nice build.
  19. Not quite so fast at taking the pics on this one..... Love the orange, love the car......Great build.
  20. You?.....build a completely stock vehicle? No way man!!! Looks great Mark.
  21. I don't know what's better, the beautiful model, or the fact that you shot those pics in 4 seconds..... Nice Ferrari man!!!
  22. Looks fantastic!!! You did good 15 years ago, now let's see what ya do nowadays....
  23. Nice clean build of a great old classic!!! I personally don't care for the yellow tire lettering, but everything else is spot on!
  24. WOW!!! It's been awhile since I've posted anything.....anywhere, but here goes. I built this for a friend, and it took awhile, but all's good. Chopped top, mid sixties Show Rod/Show Car styled '32 Ford 5/w coupe. I used a Cadillac engine, but with the engine block, oil pan, and pulley assembly from the new '49 Merc combined with the heads, valley cover pieces, intake manifold, and valve covers from a Roth Outlaw. It's amazing how well they bash with so many years between. Paint is HOK Sunset pearl, and Pure Ice fingernail polish, and the only kit chrome on this build is the wheels, headlights, and door handles, everything else is Alclad, or polished metals. So, how 'bout some pics? Ok...... Here's the only pic of the interior...
  25. Very nice work!!! The whole thing is insane in a good way...
