  1. This is looking awesome! Love the speaker cut-outs in the back window! Where'd you get those wheel hubs with the brake detail?
  2. Made good progress on the engine and chassis tonight.
  3. You're a good dad, Dale! Have fun with your kids! They'll enjoy this chance to spend time making something with you (don't be afraid to help more than you really think you should).
  4. That's where I'd put 'em!
  5. Geezers!! LOL - 43 here...
  6. I built this little diorama out of an old dresser drawer. Took the front off, added a piece of trim across the front, painted it, created a graphic in Photoshop to the proper dimensions, printed it on self-adhesive paper and stuck it on. The gravel is the oil dry stuff you use to soak up oil spills. It makes a great backdrop for car pics. Quick and simple. Most of the time was spent in Photoshop making the background. I have made several different backgrounds.
  7. Rockford Files ... my dad watched that when I was a kid - now it's on Netflix. Lots of cool cars from the 60s and 70s.
  8. This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Today anyway!
  9. Irked that it's Monday.
  10. Man, this is looking so cool! Love that air cleaner art!
  11. James - these all look amazing! Love the MC chopper!
  12. The Dollar Store is a treasure trove of modeling extras! Looking good Ira!

  14. This is awesome!! Nice work!
  15. Thanks! All stock and weathered. It's been sitting for quite a while...
  16. Cool! That's pretty close for me. What are your prizes? Big money?? ;-)
  17. Definitely not a driver. When it's "under glass" it'll be on a trailer with a flat tire or two. I like your ideas for under the hood!
  18. That looks great! Nice redlines!
  19. I also experimented with making the wing vent windows open. Tricky, but turned out ok for a first try. you might catch a glimpse of that in the previous pics.
  20. Got the interior into the body. Fabricated sunvisors out of cardboard. Kinda hard (impossible) to see in the pics. Still need to build the engine and chassis and finish things up.
