same here. I had one once, built it curbside because I used the SOHC in a Revell F-100. Always liked the stance of that little maverick with the big scoop and the big and little slotted mags. Did all the issues have the tires with Goodyear on one aid and Firestone on the other?

yes..hopefully. Moebius' apparent success with their "good enough" approach is unlikely to bother fixing their obvious errors... good lord. You don't have to troll EVERY thread about these kits.

Slots look great on that truck

I got both kits a few weeks ago, opened them up and then put them in my stash. All this talk about the textured finish prompted me to open them up and see for myself. I don't see an issue. It's a really fine texture and if one coat of primer doesn't cover it, I'd be shocked. I'll get started on the '69 soon. Opening the kit got my mind racing about how I want to build it.

Everybody's different, obviously. I'm not a big guy either, at 5' 10", and I fit fine into the Camaro. Heck, I even had a Miata as a DD for awhile.

Great build. As you mentioned, I've seen several people start this build but never finish it. I'd never seen the movie but your build convinced me I should check it out. I still like your model but man that was a bad movie lol.
