  1. From some site I was on yesterday, there were three bikes in the film. One was destroyed in the last scene. Two were stolen and stripped. This bike is the one that was blown up in the last scene, brought back to life again. Peter Fonda seems to think it's the real deal.
  2. I know! It's magical how well they came together. Saves a lot of time.
  3. Here's the article... Geez. http://www.latimes.com/business/autos/la-fi-hy-easy-rider-captain-america-bike-sold-20141019-story.html
  4. The other day (a month ago ) I saw a rig towing a truck towing a truck carrying a pickup.
  5. I'm going to add a lot more to it. I always start with a base coat and goes through a series of weathering. Say the trailer was built in 1962. In 1963 somebody dropped something really heavy on it. Dent. The next year, the kids' cherry bombs blew up next to it. Scorch marks! Rust, dirt, grime. You get the picture.
  6. There was a kid at my school, real druggie type. He liked Eclipses, like early models. He always had em riced out, stupid stereos and the works. Whilst drunk/stoned, he crashed three, blew a head gasket in one, and somehow tore a whole wheel off one in the space of a couple months.
  7. Trucks on trucks 0_o
  8. Here's how it stands as of 4:00. It's got a driveshaft, which is uncommon for tractors most times, but it was necessary for the overall length and height I was looking for. I scratched together a simple trailer. I plan on this tractor to be a rusty farm runner, so I made the trailer quick and painted it with a heavy coat of flat black. Wheels are from the MPC Superbird. Obviously still needs a hitch ? Some boxes I made for it, and a rolled up thing of mesh. Maybe I'll pile more Firestone Supremes on there.... muahahaha! A look with the trailer.... And here's the crank that broke off last night. Took me an hour to find it.
  9. Haha, it was IN the movie "Quadrophenia!"
  10. I wouldn't mind the two engines thing but it's too wide and too long for my tastes.
  11. You might get one of the buzz bombs in the straights, but he'll getcha in the corners.
  12. It's just gross how badly they made this. Still, it's the closest I'd get to a GT6 in my home scales of 1/24 and 1/25.
  13. While I'm waiting for that clay to harden up, here's another tractor I'm working on. Considerably smaller than the first, and for good reason. That Cummins was a monster to work with. Datsun engine! See why I never get up so early? The pictures come out so bad.
  14. ^ Well I never thought those looked good anyways... I actually like that, though.
  15. Might have to make a squared up basic shape of it and then round it where appropriate.
  16. It turns over when the carbs are on, which they aren't right now. Needs major rust work. Maine isn't a very considerate climate for steel.
  17. Now it's back to black again. Strange.
  18. He obviously wasn't worried about, say, exploding.
  19. It looks gorgeous...
