  1. That truck is called "Iron sides". Its got a 3408. The owner Bob Wilson passed away a few years ago. His grandson restored the truck but without the paint scheme, all black. That trailer in the pic is a rolling casino.
  2. Ive actually driven through the towns in Az they took the names from, Peach Springs Az. The hills do actually resemble the hoods and fenders of cars. I have to dig up the pics. I was going west on the 40 from Flagstaff to Kingman. I had to load at a rock quarry off Rte 66, so i took the scenic route. It was cool to see all that stuff they took and put in the movie, well altered and drew into the movie.
  3. It isnt hard to break into a pete. Just pop out the big peep window in the passenger door.
  4. The owner thinks he knows who did it. They took the time to drop the trailer.
  5. Man this is lookin good already. Very nice work so far. Really like the rotator detail so far.
  6. Nice work Sam. The cement on the steer tires looks real. Awesome detail.
  7. Well my source for my motor fell through. So now i get to search and hope i find the twin turbo small block from Ross Gibson. Hope i can find 1.
  8. Here are a couple of old Dodge work trucks put to pasture.
  9. This is whay im driving this week. 2012 Western Star 4900SB Transfer.
  10. Your wrecker kit is a perfect example of an inexpensive way to improve an already pricey kit. Yes conversion cabs are an excellent choice to improve a kit like this Marmon, or an updated pete cab for the italeri pete, or the hood conversions for the other italeri pete. I know there are a few who "accurate", but i think just improving whats already available or going to be, is the way to go.
  11. Im with you JT. I had no idea some trucks were so bad. And you know what, it still doesnt bother me. Ill build the kit that i buy and build it my best. I have a couple of resin conversions. Like you said, we try to get by on a budget without makin wife too mad. Im sure you, like me, spend a little more than we should sometimes. I would love to have a Bill Signs Pete or a Can-Do wrecker or an Autcar tractor, the wife would kill me if i paid those prices. I would like more, better truck kits. Unless i win the lotto, im quite content with i can afford.
  12. Its just a rebadged pete. Its nowhere near even close to mediocre in correctness.
  13. Sounds like your doing it right. Im using ios and every once in while itll mess up. I just refresh PB and try again.
  14. Yeah buddy. Just a flip of the switch. I like watchin those outlaw 8.5 guys. Its just a pedal fest.

  16. Thats cool. Draggin the ol' heap home from the demo derby.
  17. I like that Yenko Nova. That transporter on top is nice too.
  18. That little Smart will be a hand full if you nailed it from a stop light. Very nice.
  19. Ill get pic of what im driving this week. Its a WS 4900SB.
  20. I dont have any pics of what i currently drive. Simply because the company is gettin rid of old trucks, buyin new. I dont know what ill be drivin for a couple more months, rumored to be a new '15 KW. But this is what used to drive at the previous company. The blue truck i drove for a short time. The white truck was stolen a week after this show.
  21. That looks good outside. That orange is bright.
  22. That is really nice. Looks like there were some builds at that show.
  23. So Cal is loaded with badass trucks. If you get the chance on your next trip across the pond. You should try around early Oct. Theres a working truck show, nothing but working trucks, Truckin for Kids. You can do a you tube or google image search.
