I just talked to my mom. She lives in Bull Head City Az, which across the river from Laughlin Nv. She got snow at her house last night. In the summer there they get temps close to 130.

My thinking exactly. I saw that the record in Downtown LA was almost 90 degrees in 1920 something. I had this conversation with somebody and they said global warming causes odd cold snaps. Ive decided on running gear, gonna pick up a NASCAR kit. Now i need figure out what to hide it under.

I was in Phoenix last night. My wife said it was snowing up here in Hesperia, and was 16 when she woke up at 7. Heres a pic today at 8 am on my way back. This the 10 west bound, obviously mile marker 51, between Phoenix and Quartsite. Guess all the retired snow birds down here from the north were a little tweaked this morning.

I want to again but with the better skills ive learned from this forum. I have a couple kit bash projects. Hope i can get to them and the Cannonball build, which still has me scratchin my head how to make it a sleeper.

Very nice. I really need to pick 1 of these up. You did some awesome work on the decals. Large area decals like these are tough.

Ill really be looking at how you do the rear ramp, making it operate. My problem with building 379 is i cant decide how i want to build it. I think for the transporter i have an idea, but colors keep racin in my head.

Just to make them look more realistic, less molded. Im probably not gonna do it, my skills arent the best and i dont want to screw it up. Not the track rails, the hand rail along the main body.

Ill dig in my stash tonight when i get in from the road. I kinda have an idea, the tricky parts makin it a sleeper.

This was parked behind me at the hotel when i left this morning. A 362 pete lowered pullin a 57'er. Yes its a 57'er, notice how far back the kingpin is and how far the tandems are slid forward.

Not exactly a kit, but its something ive been searchin for. I have 2 excavators now. Got them for 20 bucks each, gotta love the fuel reward points. I have no idea what im gonna do with the trucks and trailers. Guess ill figure it after i get home and open them up.

Sure, any picks would be great. It is small but i can sure try to detail it. Im scratchin my noggin on how to cut the long rails so they look like rails. I started it and started to over think it and just set it aside. Im sure some pics would help me greatly. Thanks

Thats what i thought when i seen it, a challenge. Im in no hurry to finish it. I want it to look right, not slapped together with yellowish railing. Im gonna give it my best.
