Ive already started lookin in my parts boxes. But im not sure on the big bumper right now. My DR is tryin to look like a pete right now. Maybe i should leave the smaller bumper.

Here soon the wife and i will be moving. Once i get my hobby room/ garage set up, this will definitely find bench time. Since right now my hobby area is the kitchen counter, this is too big. That and i have nowhere to set it when im not working on it or when its finished. The things we forget when that styrene inspiration hits us.

Its cool that some builds get bumped back up. I havent dug that far back into the threads. Some of the older builds should be bumped back up. This is definitely 1 of those.

The NASCAR motor would give this away before i even left the parking lot as its loud. This will help that problem, this should be much quieter. Ive heard really good things about Ross' motors, hope somebody will continue to mold his stuff. Cant wait for it to get here.

I remeber sittin in my room at the Gold Strike tgere in Jean, watching the news. That was a crazy storm. Places that have never gotten snow before, got a bunch of it. Vegas has gotten a few freak storms in the last few years. I was going through Mesquite about 3 years ago when that crazy rain came through and flooded you guys out. I missed the last 1, last year, the 1 that closed the 15 north of Apex there.

I had 2 HPI Blitz short course trucks and a Losi SCB, short course buggy. I had probably 4 grand wrapped up in that between tires and bodies and extra parts for each. I wasnt having fun doing it. If im not enjoying a hobby, why am i doing it. Do i sold the buggy and 1 of the trucks. I kept 1 to play with when i wanted. Kept a 5700 kw brushless Castle system for it, a set of dirt tires, off the Traxxas Slash, and a set of paddle tires for the sand.

The last company i drove for, the truck i drove was the last year Caterpillar in highway trucks. Like clock work, it had to go to Cat for some DPF related issue, it went through spark plugs every 3 months. I lost a lot of work because of it.

Lookin like a tough piece of equipment. Those 2 hole rims really bring it all together.

I remember being stuck on hwy 95 about 2 miles south of Searchlight Nv for 12 hours, about 5 or 6 years ago. Searchlight is about an hour south of Vegas. That was a crazy storm. Vegas got quite a bit snow in that storm. I was stuck in a hotel all week till the I15 south reopened. We got 2 foot of snow and it stayed for about a week.

Yeah my little 1/10 short course truck was fun but man it took a bashin. Between me and the other drivers, it rarely finished a race.

I think id cry the on 1st crash. Theres almost no fixing it, at least with airplanes.

Im slowly catching up. I have half a room at the moment. But i know the pile is gonna get bigger with both rigs, pick ups, hot rods, muscle cars, and who knows what else. I did the RC desl for awhile, i could stand bashing a 50 dollar body with a nice paint job anymore. That and it was expensive. I spent probably around 100 bucks a race on parts. Guess i wasnt very good at it, that doesnt help.

Guess im not a dummy dummy trucker. I can use the ol' noggin every now and then. See i keep tellin them mechanics its not the loose nut behind the wheel!
