  1. I posted this in the general section, but it truck related, so I'll post it again here. https://www.yahoo.com/autos/ford-never-built-f-100-boss-302-pickup-180017230.html "Combine the words “Boss” and “Mustang,” and you’ve likely struck a chord with Blue Oval fans. For those wishing Ford did a bit more with its fan-favorite “Boss” moniker, well… consider your prayers answered. The Boss 302 F-100 recently emerged on eBay, with bidding already topping the $60,000 mark."
  2. Thank you very much guys. I'm really happy to see the participation and diversity of builds. Hope everyone has a good time at the bench. Can't wait to see all these fantastic builds completed.
  3. The "hidden" box is under the bunk. Like Matt said, it can just be a catch all or actually serve a purpose. Chains, straps, rachets, air hose, extra parts like air lines or an extra electrical pigtail. I used my box to store all my cleaning supplies, polish, rags, tire dressing sponges, towels...etc.
  4. Some are, some aren't. It just depends on the application, where it needs to go.

  6. Saw these 2 yesterday. I have a bunch of pics of the T800 and the heavy haul if interested.
  7. Figured since it's been over a year since we've visited our build collection, I'd dig this up. I don't have any new pics of my builds, together in one spot yet, but I'm sure some of you might. I had a bit of a surprise offer today. My LHS, even though their focus is RC, offered me display space in their cabinet. So part of my collection is on display. I took 3 for now, they're getting a new cabinet and told me if I'd like, to full it up. So...here are the 3 I took up there. I'll get a pic of the cabinet in a few days.
  8. Good to hear you've decided on a direction for this. I'll go ahead and drop Project 351 here for you to ponder.
  9. I've seen it in person. When I showed the 386 I drove, they unloaded it right behind our trucks. I got pics under that truck. The walking beams are HUGE. I saw another oversize transformer load from that company today. I'll post pics when PB is up again.
  10. Just figured I'd post an outside pic in the group thread of this awesome kit.
  11. Some auto parts stores call it Equipment Yellow. Or you can by your local CAT service shop and buy CAT yellow.
  12. Here's another needle nose, it doesn't have your fenders, but check out the wheels.
  13. Nice build. Looks really good in yellow with the black accents. I really like these snapper kits. They have so much potetial. I can't leave them alone. I have OCD about chopping them up, either stretch em, shorten em to 2 axles, make day cabs. Very versitle.
  14. Here's a little GIF of that red Pete. It belongs to A&L Truck Supply in Tulare, Ca. I've seen that truck many times in person. It's amazing, let me tell you.
  15. You didn't miss much. I had to tune out of most of show today. High Pitch, Elephant Boy and Wendy at the same time. My ears couldn't take it.
  16. Businesses are way scared of any legal issues arising from age restrictions.
  17. I wonder how likely it would be for Round2 to re-release the Freightliner single drive. I'd like to get a few of those.
  18. I still get carded for spray paint out here. Guess mid 30s with salt and pepper hair looks 15 to some. Nevermind the fact a few times they saw me get out of a Peterbilt!
  19. My company is loving it. Especially since they're leaving the fuel surcharge up like fuel is still 5 bucks a gallon.
  20. Hope this will help a little. I got a chance to get some reference pics of how the upright is mounted to the frame behind the steer axle. Plus a few extra pics just in case. I also have a pic of the fifth wheel setup too if you want.
  21. Great project Sean. I'll be following this for sure.
  22. Feel lucky Harry. We're still a dollar higher than you out here.
  23. Man, I really like when Steven Tyler is in the studio. Like a lot of people, once on the couch, there's really nothing that's off limits. I wonder how this whole High Pitch and Elephant Boy deal will end up.
  24. This is gonna be way cool. Very different direction than the norm. Any color ideas?....just messin with ya.
  25. Can't wait to see what you have in mind for this. I'm sure it'll look great.
