Here's the lot of inside stuff I recently bought. I think this is enough to get a good start on the inside. -

This looks great. My kinda build, stretched and slammed. If you want to add a little "extra" to it. Take a pin vise of be very easy with a drill. Take a 7/64 or 1/8 drill bit and drill out the 10 holes on the rims. It'll give it that custom wheel look. Also, you might want to rub some BMF on the handles and sleeper vents. 1 last thing, a visor would be the cherry on top. Drop me a PM, I might be able to help. -
RS is no more. The final day was the end of last month. I used wire for hanging pictures. I also bought a multi color pack of small jewelry wire from Hobby Lobby. Check around craft stores, drug stores, makeup sections and other odd places. I bought some nail polish that was clearance at a beauty shop a few weeks back.

I will be starting construction on my dio. It'll be my version of a custom truck shop. I'm calling Scale Truck Mafia. I say it's for trucks but I'm sure a few hot rods and pick ups will get some treatment from this sjop, we won't discriminate. I'm gonna start out with a 2 bay shop with a small office lounge area. I've already started getting the inside stuff together, tool boxes, benches and what not. I've never attempted a dio before, so any help with materials, ideas, pointers and whatever would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to have it done around the time as this truck to unveil them together.

It is for "fuel economy" as they say. Ca was one of, if not, the first to make them a law on 53 foot reefers. Soon to be all 53s. -

Here are my petes First up is the Revell snapper. The rest here are AMT. -
That's a toughy. If you heat up the frame rail and get it some what straight, you need to run it under cold water immediately. It shocks and basically stress relieves it so it will keep that shape. You could the super glue method 1 cross member at a time using the cross members, glued a little off of square to get the bow out. The bowed frame rails are an AMT thing. I've 3 Ca Haulers and they all had bows, some better than others. The plated tanker I just finished those rails, both of them, we're crooked as a politician.

I really like the color. I like how you can look at it and see 2 different colors. -

That's comforting to know I'm not the only one who's had a bottle of the never dry silver. -

Since you put super singles on it, it would be fitting for skirts. Looks great Kurt. Nice job so far. -
It's rough out here some days. To quote PigPen from Convoy, "these ol' highways sure wear the souls off of cow pokes". I've been in bad weather before, nothing like the accident I started the thread over, but still pretty bad. I was dead heading, running empty, from Flagstaff, Az to Kingman, Az. Not far, but that winter the south west had a pretty rough one. It snowin hard, roads were icy, I was empty with super singles and no chains. MI D you in a truck that only weighed 28000 pounds. I ran that 3 hour drive in 7 hours. I never got over 25 mph. I couldn't stop to let the weather clear up cause those who know, there isn't much out there for a guy driving a day cab. There big strapers haulin "the mail" out there in the hammer lane. Luckily there were no accidents that night, but the "ingredients" were there for disaster. I just stayed 3 truck lengths away from the truck in front of me and made it safely to the motel. That same year, I was loaded, heading to Las Vegas from Phoenix. I was on Hwy 95. It's a 2 lane highway that runs through the middle of no where. I got to Needles Ca when the snow started falling. Got about 45 minutes further down the road and it started coming down hard. This was the same storm that gave Las Vegas record snow fall. I got an hour and a half from Vegas and the highway was stopped. The snow let up enough to allow me to look between the trucks, up the road a little bit. All I could see was the broad side of Swift trailer. He didn't wreck it, but he spun out lost control and managed to keep up right without hitting anything or anybody. But he did shut the highway down in both directions. I sat in that spot for 12 hours before highway patrol knocked on my door, because I managed to get some sleep in that cab, to tell me they were escorting traffic. I then sat at the Goldstrike Hotel in Jean, NV for 3 more days because southbound 15 was unpassable. Accidents, ice and the fact it was still snowin in the higher elevation, kept me from going home.

I went to a small town general market a few days ago. The towns population is around 1000 people. I was cruising around and found a small hobby section. Some cool kits, nothing spectacular though. But I was lookin at the paint and discovered 6 cans of Boyds Chezoom Teal and 2 cans of Tamiya Clear.
