  1. Up next on the to-do list. My version of the Revell Cali Wheels Nomad. Gotta have them Supremes. Flattened out the hood abit. Pretty straightforward under the hood. Final ride height should be just a tad lower than this.
  2. A great looking model resurrected from the past, well done.
  3. Don't forget to brush!
  4. Have given thought to some Ed Roth style bumpers?
  5. Thanks again for the comments and interest...
  6. Whether you like it or not, your imagineering and skills are very apparent. Nice work.
  7. After almost two years of the most frustrating job I have ever had, I start a new position in a couple weeks with a new company and much better situation all the way around. A lot less BS and much better $$.
  8. From the Revell California Wheels kit... In the picture you can see the mold line high lighted with a pencil, but on top of the fender there is a ridge kind of like a 57. From the resources I have it appears it should not be like this. Seems it should be rounded but not peeked. Is that true? Sorry 56
  9. No idea what kind of work you do, but you'll always need a good table saw. I have an older Delta with a Uni-fence, it sits more than it gets used but when I need it it is there. My bench top sees more action because of its mobility. Are you set up in a shop?
  10. Thanks guys, I believe the front bump from the Revell 50 Olds kit
  11. Thanks for the interest at the WIP thread, and here it is... Still have a few things to finish off, but it is done for now, Thanks Again!
  12. Thank you Greg, it is Tamyia Clear Red over Light Gunmetal.
  13. Get your color on... Freshly painted, poor lighting but sneak peek anyway.
  14. Thanks guys. I do layer the parts. I cut out the backing and shape it to fit. Then cut strips at the width I need, bevel or round off the edges and then glue them to the back piece. I like to place a little weight on the part and let it dry. Trim, sand and fit!
  15. One of my favorites. I to re-scribed the fins, I glued a piece of styrene to a blade as a spacer then glued another piece over that, longer so it went past the point. This I used as a guide to carefully deepen those areas. Sorry don't have a pic of that tool!
  16. A great tribute to two of the best that ever raced...
  17. Fine tuning some things before paint prep begins...
  18. I purchased this AMT 60 El Camino as a Christmas present for myself and will be doing another restore/mild custom similar to the Buick I did this past year. Trying a few things. Workking on a custom grill and light combo. Thoughts?
  19. Woke to this view of the old Heifer barn yesterday...
  20. Worked up a new firewall to go with the interior...
  21. I would like to remind everyone that there is an "Ignore" function available in your settings. I find that it is most useful in cases like this, you know when the hospitals forget to lock the doors and patients escape!
