  1. Thanks Blair, and it is. I shortened it and reshaped the ends some. Not sure if I like it yet, might be to much bumper...
  2. If this is how you truly see it, you don't deserve to enjoy a Hobby!
  3. Thanks guys, and yes they are Carl...
  4. No resolutions but: I have found revitalization in building for myself. I was burned out building for shows and detailing things as if it were going to a museum or something. My goal is to keep it simple and have fun!
  5. Thought I'd start the new calender year with a WIP, this the AMT Texaco 3100 pick up kit. So far I've: Shortened the bed 6 scale inches, smoothed the body and removed all hardware, re-skinned the tailgate, added an Olds front bumper, swapped the headlights and set it on some nice Caddy wheels and white wall tires. The real change will be the chassis, it will have running/rolling gear from a "67" Corvette.
  6. Great looking woodland chariot!
  7. Thanks Guys, looking forward to all the creativity this coming year...

  17. Well done Stan, the Vega turned out nicely.
  18. Well done, Matt I'm liking that Fokker. I have a Curtiss P-6E Hawk started. It's Classic Airframes.
  19. Very nice models, Tyrone. The C10 is my favorite.
  20. All nicely done Bernard, the 27T is my fav.
  21. The calender year 2014 was a definite changing point for me. Filled with personal struggle and much accomplishment. As for the Hobby, I stepped away from the "Short Track " subject and concentrated on the beloved "Custom Car" scene. And I have enjoyed it very much, thanks for all the memories...
  22. Welcome Larry and Rule #1 Just have fun with it, #2 Keep it simple. Let your skills catch up to the hobby. And Hey, here in the states that shed is called a dog house and if your in it, you've already caused harm! Trust me I know...

  25. I never intended to cut it up, and this is the 59 Buick I did, http://s176.photobucket.com/user/fredjames_2007/library/59%20Buick?sort=2&page=1 Using the same methods I hope to achieve another mild custom. This one retains almost all of the original parts except for the tail lights. (Modelhaus) It even has the original glass, polished up of course!
