Thanks for bringing this one up again, it was a fun build to do.
  2. Took some pointers and added some wash to a few areas. And than you for the interest also...
  3. Brilliant !
  4. Back on the bench, one of the hold ups was how to mount the wheels. But I was able to figure that out last night. After a few more test fits it should be ready for paint.

That is a nice looking model, Ray. I intended to flip the kit for profit but after some research and your model I may just do a mild custom from it. Kinda like my 59 Buick! Thanks

  10. This is the best find I have got in a long time. The only thing missing is one tire, parts are in great shape and the glass is good. I hope I did alright? Gave $10.00 for it!
  11. Great chassis building!
  12. Welcome, what took so long!
  13. She sounds like a strong women, and has been preparing you for this. These things happen to all of us eventually. You should be strong for her sake. No offence intended but, Scared and worried for who? Yourself or your Mother? Seems to me she is trying to comfort you, and will continue to do so for the rest of your life. She will always be part of you. I can't hardly tie my shoe without thing of my Dad, rest his soul. You will be fine, "Truth heals, it just takes time..." Prayers and thoughts
  14. Thanks guys. Richard, I did paint the rubber strip on the wipers, but left the arms orange on purpose. BMF would have made them stand out like a Amish guy in a nightclub! The exhaust should get the wash you speak of, but they have end caps on them and may not show. Points well taken.
  15. Thanks all... Dave, the rear bumper is from a Chevy of some kind. It had a step and bumperettes molded in to it. It took several tries to get like this. Mike I an't going unless you bring something, Thanks for your kindness!
