  1. Good on'ya...
  2. Well done on the wheels, I have done the same thing many times. I hope to follow along as you put this together. Flocking looks good, waiting for more...
  3. Winter, waiting on weather, for paint. Waiting on parts/supplies to arrive. Boredom! Another build may inspire me more. And occasionally I just mess up and set a build aside... I will say I rarely build from only one kit and I have been able to finish 95% of those projects I start.
  4. The Whistle Stop is a great shop, good people all around. If Kevin does not have it, he can get it. Usually in a few days. Happy modeling!
  5. Great story, good to still have some older builds also. as far as re-builds go... Leave the stacks, pull the SB and go Diesel!
  6. I have not built a bug yet, but this build will help. Thanks!
  7. I think I'll add a visor to help hide mine!
  8. Not sure if this is the right spot, forgive me if so. Looking for info about this kit. Is this a 4x4 or 2 wheel drive. It appears to have 4- off road tires! Thanks .
  9. The 1:1 build... http://beckkustoms.blogspot.com/
  10. Started doing a little more on this project.
  11. I have several ways , of which none are legal!
  12. Yes there are, but I switched them myself. I did not know they were available that way. And thank you for the reply.
  13. Outstanding build, It'll make a great gift too!

Very nicely done, I have had the same thought and also I can see this style catching on. I need to get busy!
  15. Thanks Blair, I'm fresh out of truck kits. I do have a 64 Impala I am considering a worn look on. There is a free swap meet com'n up in Sharron, Pa next month I hope to pick a few trucks up then.
  16. Back when I redid this truck I never did put an engine in it. I had a 383 from the Revell Nova kit, so in it went, finally! Pretty basic, brush painted, weathered and washes. Drilled and wired distributor.
  17. Pretty good! In the bucket picture, where did you find the small parts keeper?
  18. Thanks again everyone...
  19. Good to see this one is still near the bench at least!
