  1. I have an older AMT coupe to do, I'll be following your closely!
  2. On-line forums, facebook, twitter and the like have taken the place of the old neighborhood. When your friends lived just a few doors away and if you needed it, help was just around the corner. I miss just hang'n out with the gang, But I agree, since that time has passed, MCM fills in quite nicely.
  3. Not a fan of the biggies, but I do like a nice ProMod. Hopefully the excitement to start will carry you to the finish.
  4. Great WIP, Jeremy. I admire your attention to detail and eye for corrective modeling. It seem you approach each component as a separate model in it self.
  5. It is a very nice tribute and a great model...
  6. Impressive weathering, looks realistic...
  7. Found these side pipes in the parts box but the shape would not work. I trimmed the ends and bent up some that work much better. And some mock up shots, still have lots to do... Getting into a real cold snap here, won't be painting much for awhile, but have plenty of projects to work on!
  8. Thanks again every one...
  9. Rust never sleeps, great looking rig you have there. (The tires could have been sanded down some)
  10. I have several black market connection I could never revile, for fear of death!
  11. Thank you all. This time around I shortened the bed and flip the rear fenders, also added 58 Chevy tail lights. Scratch built a panel under the tail gate to connect the fenders and close things up some. The drivers door is hinged now along with the hood, instead of being glued! That's a fresh coat of Tamyia Black on the body, polished and waxed. I also re-painted the chassis but left it the way it was. Just replacing the old Boyd wheels with a set from Pegasus. The interior is the same I added some tape for seat belts and the color is oil rubbed dark grey primer. The only thing I did not do was change the glass, Maybe some day! Not to bad for a model that is almost 15 years old...
  12. I tried to keep as much of the original build as possible. But added a few updates and subtle body mods. Thanks for looking...
  13. The inspiration... As built in 1998... And now...
  14. Well done, looks real nice. Love the story also!
  15. I decided to leave the skirts alone because of the risk of ruining the panels. I thought about the Caddy lights but have the same concerns as with the skirts. At this point I would hate to damage the body. I may be going more traditional with the tail lights. Here is the engine...
  16. A little interior work...
  17. Thankful this one is almost finished! Might just get'r done this weekend...
  18. That looks real good. Kinda like a real deal, missing parts so make a race car!
  19. Perhaps he is pregnant and that was the only way to write him out of the script....
