  1. I like your direction, should be a good'n.
  2. As with many of us Tim Boyd has inspired me to build subjects I would not normally think of. And with his latest post of a wonderful 32 Street Roadster, it reminded me of this build. I enjoyed learning about these great drag cars from Tim and research on my own. Here is what I came up with. Link to humble build, http://s176.photobucket.com/albums/w184/fredjames_2007/29%20Street%20Roadster/ Lets see what you might have!
  3. Thanks guys, it is you fellows who inspire me to be better. Painted and began detailing the body. The rivets where painted with a mechanical pencil dipped in silver paint, and the decals are UP Scale Classic found at a swap meet. Tamiya White and Mat Black decanted and airbrushed on. After it dries for some time the inside will be painted black as well. The chassis is coming along also, flat grey with some subtle weathering. The engine and compartment is almost done. Scratch bent headers with Alclad and water color wash. I'm liking it sofar! The driver will be next...
  4. Should be a good'n, I'll be watching. I'd like to see that bumper!

    Amt 62 Chevy

That's a daisy Karl, Real good.
  6. And with that, I say the good Doctor has officially CRANKED it up a notch!
  7. I use coins to cover the wheel while painting, dimes work perfectly.
  8. ^^^^^Especially in plastic!^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  9. You could try putting the wheel in the tire then the decal! Cutting the paddles off is easy enough.
  10. I don't much care for the term Rat Rod, but since it is you Doc, I'll follow along. Interesting take on a non-rat rod kit.
  11. Good looking line up there. Looks like your real close on fitment too.
  12. The title should say 32 Ford "SCALP'T"
  13. That explains it, must write his own prescriptions!
  14. Why not split the cost, even at 60/40 they could have been better off. Once again the only ones that made out, are the lawyers.
  15. Well done!
  16. I would say, Go with what inspired you in the first place! "A" or simply add the mechanic.
  17. Very cool project, Your body work looks great. What chassis did you start with? I built this last year. Looking forward to yours finished.
  18. Good looking model. Your attention to detail show through. And the photography is well done.
  19. Really like your skill Chris.
  20. I've been Making bits and pieces, fitting and shaping things. The driver is from a Sprint car kit, cut up and re-glued all the joints. I set the suspension for turn four. The car will be on a base like this one is. Thanks for looking.... The blocks are available in resin, or some older kits.
  21. Coming along nicely...
  22. Welcome Loris
  23. Great subject. Amazing fabrication John, you know I'll be watching!
