  1. Moonset this morning
  2. I simply use a rice sock (Like you would use for a sore neck), heat for 2 minutes in a micro. Wrap around the can and let sit for a few. If you use two rice socks you can alternate while the paint gasses out between coats. which will keep the can warm longer and more consistently. The best part is no water to deal with while spraying. If it's to hot to handle it's to hot for the can!
  3. Very good!
  4. Yeah I need to try a better angle and light. Maybe later!
  5. Added some sparkle...
  6. Really nice weather finally here in Ohio! My bud is doing great after surgery! And from now on we should post here every time someone posts in the irk me thread! I'm pleased to have way more to be positive about than I do negative!
  7. adding color...
  8. Perhaps once you receive a warning point (like its some kinda prize) you no longer exists!
  9. Well after finding another sink mark I was able to smooth it all up and add what I hope is the final primer coat.
  10. No worries I'm having too much fun. And if ya don't have at least one warning point your not trying!
  11. The Warden said yes, Does the parole board agree?
  12. With the new look you'd think they'd take away the point and release me from probation! I have paid for my crimes.
  13. good to hear Carl.
  14. That was exactly the intention of the "What pleased you..." Topic. A place to offer positive thoughts and encouragement for all who would rather not focus on the negative. We all have situations that irk us, but I'd rather get past those as quickly as possible. But most Sheeple would rather complain than do something about it!
  15. Thanks everyone!
  16. Back on track. thanks Steve.
  17. I'm changing the name to El Unicorn! Not really just thought I'd try Steve's idea.
  18. It started as a sink mark out of the mold I believe. I tried to fix it from the inside with C/A glue and Tamiya filler from the top side. That was some weeks ago. Some how it never cured completely. Maybe I sealed it in by priming to soon? I am at a loss! I'll try the body filler and let it set up good this time.
  19. Happy "B" day, Tom
  20. Back on the bench. I had a spot that kept bleeding and not curing and after trying all day. I decided to drill it out and fill it with auto bondo. Updates to follow.

    Club Cuda

If you saw the build thread you know the story behind this build. From a club build to a disaster and a smashed body. I used a set of PPP Modified tires, wheels from an AMT Corvette Gasser kit, some kit bashing/scratch building, Tamiya Light Gun Metal, a little weathering and two kits to come up with this. It's an easy kit to put together with very few problems other than part location in the instructions and a few sequence issues I created myself. At some point between body #1 and #2 I got the cursed just get it done fever and rushed to the end. I believe it could have been nicer if I had taken more time. I am happy with it the way it is though!
  24. The finishing touches...
