  1. Thanks Geno I just posted a few updates I had been bitten by the uninspired bug the last few weeks but the finish line is in sight!
  2. And finally the weather cooperated and we have a beautiful warm day here in the Denver metro area so I was able to get the color down please enjoy
  3. then I finished the body work mainly on the cowl hood
  4. Hello all its been a while since I have updated this build but I finally made a little progress I scratch built a shifter and ran the CO2 bottle to it and mounted my nitrous bottles the rolling chassis is almost complete
  5. Geno, That will be a sick build and I will be watching it for sure! As for the chassis I have scratch built a few using styrene rod and then used an old pro mod chassis as a template and they were OK for this build I used a combo of 2 different chassis one from the Revell 55 Pro mod and also bits from the Revell Match racer firebird. And tbh I dont know enough about diecast to tell you if the styrene chassis will support the extra weight so maybe brass rod might be the way to go there and thats waaaay out of my skill set! Thank you for looking and the kind words
  6. And then just for fun I put the body on the chassis just to get a feel for where I am at (The rear axle is not done yet) Enjoy!
  7. Next I scratch built a fuel cell and mounted it I still have to run the fuel line
