The last few AMT kits I have built I was less than pleased with tons of flash, Poorly fitted parts ETC. I Built the Baldwin 70 Camaro and the roof had a monster size ripple in it that I was surprised I was able to fix with body putty and sand paper The worst AMT kit I built was their 57 Chevy hard top after building that stinker I almost swore off of their product but have recently purchased the 68 ELCO to give it a try Just my 2 cents Mike

Joseph and Fireball Modelworks
Buffs Fan replied to JTalmage's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I must agree... I usually don't like to order stuff off the internet but Joseph had what I needed got them out to me very quick and I was shocked at how nice the GMC/Chevy Rally wheels looked and at that price was unbeatable I will be getting more parts from him in the future -
Anyone Tried Preval Sprayers?
Buffs Fan replied to Nells250's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I have used them on a few of my builds they work just like a rattle can the only issue I have had with them is the fact that if you don't get the propellant can and siphon tube completely spotless then it clogs up and becomes useless -

Lacquer over Pledge Floor Care Finish?
Buffs Fan replied to aurfalien's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
After reading a previous post on using Future I did a final coat on a 67 Chevelle and love the results however there were 2 things that I had happen 1. I used an acrylic black to detail the door lines cowl vents etc. and the Future lifted those right off the body 2. I have noticed that it has cracked in a couple of spots but again that was the first and only time I used it and I'm sure as I get more experience with it I can eliminate those kinds of issues Mike -

I have a question... Where do you find the small diameter wire you use for the ignition boxes etc? -
I just sprayed Creatix transparent orange on my 66 GTO and the product is great but at first it looked way to fluorescent but after a few more coats it settled down and last night I sprayed Testors one coat laquer clear on it and it looks really good! In my experience with Future on the Creatix paint is it lifted it right off of the body almost better than purple power on chrome so im not real sure what went wrong... Just this guys 2 cents

Thank you! All of the replies were very helpful

Hello all I just airbrushed my first project and dipped the body next thing I know all of the color was floating on top of the future So I had another painted piece I brushed the future on same issue now I thought since it was acrylic I could use on acrylic paint has anyone had this happen if so what do I need to do?

Buffs Fan replied to PlasticWagens's topic in Model Club News and Announcements
I am from the Denver metro area and I agree a few years back it seemed like there were a lot more people in this hobby now I find myself pretty much hitting up Michaels and Hobby Lobby to get my supplies and kits I dont like going to the local Hobbytown unless thats my only option (Those guys are very rude) I would like to meet others who share in my love for this hobby and learn from them! -
Nice thank you all

Stupid question but when you put down the primer and paint does it not cover up the wash?
