    I use bare 30 AWG that I paint. I was wondering if some of that colored wrapping wire might save me the painting,however coated 30 isn’t 30 anymore.

    I am considering this as my next project. Are there any sequencing issues I should know about. I suppose the actual build is as per the instructions but what about painting? This is a complex unit. I am wondering what the best way of painting this is, which subassemblies etc.

    Thank you Joel. However the great work just came to a screeching halt. The clear on the painted spoon worked fine. However, on the car it was a different story. So back in the box it goes.

    The instructions and reference photos call for the large vertical rear quarter panel to be semi-gloss black. I have decided to make mine carbon fiber. I realize gray would have been better but this is what I have.
