  1. Trying to fill scratches and divots. Added goodies to the FI.
  2. Thank you Dann & Joe. I'm actually quite impressed myself on how that turned out.
  3. A bit of engine work.
  4. Hand brushed the accent panel with Model Master acrylic gunmetal. That stuff is wonderful. Have to stock up on many more colors.
  5. Reducing images for grille shell emblem and headlight lenses.
  6. Love it Chuck.
  7. Thank you Wayne.
  8. I discovered he had forgotten to make up an exhaust system. The owner told me the running boards will be wood with a wooden molding along the edge. Added spare tire and tailight/licence plate.
  9. Closest I got was Mossbank and Willow Bunch.
  10. All of the above.
  11. Stunning. If that is 1/25 I may quit building engine right now.
  12. Just curious, which one? I spent most of 2008 roaming across southern SK.
  13. Took it out to the garage, donned a mask and had at it with the rotary tool. It looks like a fair fit to the fender/floorpan assembly. Remains to see how the interior measures up. Those red valve covers turned out to be yellow. Started fabricating the missing breather.
  14. Sorel QC, then on to Hallébourg, ON, Toronto, Kapuskasing, Thunder Bay, North Bay, Kapuskasing again. I also worked in four provinces.
  15. The "carpet"came off but not without a fight. So I've enlisted the purple stuff for assistance. Found some small block Chevy looking parts for the engine. I winder where that was from, the blue heads should give a clue. And yes Lloyd (Rider), it is a challenge. You are looking at roughly 5 hours work here. I used to build an entire model in five hours when I was a kid.
  16. Looks like that's what it is. Thanks.
  17. Anyone recognize this unit? It is molded in yellow and appears somewhat large, 1/24 perhaps?
  18. Took the chassis apart. the front axle is broken, put it back together. It has a blown 427. I was thinking of using a fuel injected small block. I have one but it is scheduled for the collection. I also have this unit which appears to be an early version. It is molded in yellow and appears somewhat large, perhaps 1/24? Any one recognize it?
  19. Worked on the headlights and the spare tire.
  20. Actually it isn't that bad. The real proof will be when I try to fit the interior in it. I haven't removed it from the coupe body yet.
  21. Robert, the casting is very thick in places , there are few blobs inside. It will definitely be challenging.
  22. Somewhere along the way I took a '39 Chevy sloper body in trade for something. I had looked for a donor car and the only one I could find that was reasonably priced was the Rod version of the coupe. So tonight I thought I'd start looking at it. It has a blown 427 and red "carpets". Cut off the fenders on the sloper. I will use the kit's And, as you have seen, I have started opening up the windows.
