  1. Amazing engine detail. Those linkage parts have my attention. Are they generally available or did you make them?
  2. Am I correct in assuming that the lines from A (oil filter?) go to B (oil cooler?). Or do they go to galleries in the block?
  3. The interior is installed. Please forgive the poor photography. I should have left one of the door windows open.
  4. Hi Carl, this is the one I use.
  5. They are from Printle Shop on Shapeways. They are scanned from real people. https://www.shapeways.com/designer/benhaim
  6. Thanks Mike. Glad you like it. It has its own thread http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/97646-background-diorama-flatheads-to-boxers-engine-rebuilders-new-tool-new-room/
  7. Installed the glass and the engine.
  8. Here we are some 8 months later and I found the fender today. It had flown clear across the garage and hid under a table. I found it looking for something else.
  9. Dodge Red Ram hot rod engine. Supercharged OHV V8, 270 cu.in./ 183 hp. From a junk engine with the help of the Parts Pak 392.
  10. Sorry about the late response Ismo. It is plywood painted gray then rubbed with graphite powder.
  11. Started pecking away at the interior.
  12. Looks like the truck version is less powerful.
  13. This is where I got it. it is for a marine engine. Not sure if the truck engines were different.
  14. Niiiice! Dan, how did you get the spacing of the bolt holeson the rings? I have to learn how to do that as I also have a tubular project with flanges on the back burner.
  15. Merci Philippe. The original transmission of the kit looked like this. I had cut it off when I set that engine up for the diorama. The one I put on is likely one I had removed from one of the truck engines in this thread. It represents a Fuller Roadranger.
  16. Caterpillar 3406 . 6 cyl. 4 stroke diesel, 893 cu.in./ 250-402 hp.
  17. I just realized there are no tires in this kit. I do have those from a Paystar that fit but I feel they aren't correct for this application. I saw several sets on eBay, some with outrageous shipping prices. Iam going to Sudbury next week to get my latest goof checked by the surgeon who attempted to fix it. There are a couple of hobby shops there . They may have tire sets. We'll see.
  18. The chassis is almost ready for paint.
  19. Mocking up the engine location to make sure everything clears before I paint the chassis.
  20. That is going to be a neat truck. And I am happy to find out I am not the only one who doesn't remember where I got stuff and when I did something to it.
  21. Thanks guys. Relocated the font axle and squared it to the frame.
