  1. Here are the three greens I have. None are like the car above. we'll see. And I'm not so sure about the louvers anymore.
  2. They are there. And to me they are the styling cue I prefer on the '65-'66 fastbacks. I know they wouldn't be correct, but it won't be going to any judging meet.?
  3. I started this one this morning. If I do it as a Hertz car it will be either blue or green. I may also use the louvers instead of the glass panel in the rear quarter.
  4. JT, I got the general idea here.
  5. The red one is done too but it is an unmitigated disater. It fought me all the way. It is NOT going in the display cabinet. I may salvage the suspension bits and scrap the rest. Or, if anyone is interested I'd trade it for a pair of Hemis.
  6. David it is possible that the new arrangement gets more views as it puts our dios in with the rest of the WIPs. The people who scan WIPs regularly see it where they didn't before. If they didn't before it is because they never or rarely went to the Diorama section. So the corresponding lack of comment is likely a result that they are just not interested. No harm done. You still have your followers.
  7. The blue one is done. It is getting a bit of polish. The driver's side mirror is missing. It may show up next time I sweep.
  8. As far as Iknow it was in only one Dodge (at least one Bighorn) and it was Allis-Chalmers themselves who had ordered it. The engine's build thread is in here http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/123724-1974-dodge-bighorn-done/
  9. Google Allis Chalmers 25000 or BigAl. Lots of info there.
  10. Greetings Matthijs. Here are the WIP threads for them. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/103369-dodge-l-700-with-stake-body-and-crane/ http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/109486-brbo-dodge-cnt-900/
  11. The window is cut and installed.
  12. Oui monsieur. Here's a real one.
  13. I'll have to check with the crew to see if they can fit you in.?
  14. Yes, 3406. Have you seen the diorama thread which shows all the machines?
  15. Working on the 3 wheels stance. Making a pattern.
  16. Glad you enjoyed them.
  17. Cool. I have two Packard speedster bodies laying around. I think I just got some inspiration.
  18. The red one sure is bucking. One should not need all those clamps to keep everything in place. It'll probably pop apart in the middle of the night some day and scare everyone. Looks like the only thing missing with the blue one is the back window.
  19. Not much room left in front of his house. ?
  20. I still have a few untouched from the move of 2003. Those two were in there. The blue one had been completed and needs to be put back together. The red one appears to have been the current WIP at the time of packing as there are still some parts on the sprues. Both will be curbside as they donated their engines to two Dodge trucks.
  21. Detroit Diesel 12V71T. Two stroke Diesel V12, 852 cu.in./525 hp.
