  1. A wheelbarrow type dolly was made for the Hit & Miss engine. Naturally, everyone convened to look at it. The concensus was :" Who can lift this?"
  2. Can't remember which was first, either Steppenwolf or Sly and the Family Stone, 1968.
  3. Like Randy says, the roof is too low for people to stand inside. However, I have also seen the same type of flip up side as David describes. I still have some of the mini hinges that would make a flip up side possible. There appears to be enpugh room outside of the wall to maybe place the "stage" that could be lowered, sort of a step off the ground type, like a big running board. It can hardly be used as a car trailer as you can see.
  4. Datsun 720 pickup engine, from the Revell snap kit. Had to make a distributor as there wasn't one and interestingly, they put the spark plugs in the block rather than in the head. OHC 4, 2.4L/103 hp.
  5. Hey Tom this is fantastic. I looked througout the thread for a reference to the source of those gratings . Were they scrounged from something else or did you scratch them?
  6. Good point. I'll take that into consideration.
  7. Jesse, I think this one ended up being a Fiero, can't remember for sure.
  8. I stared at the stash for a while. Then I settled on the display trailer. It will be done as a trailer that FTB (The fictitious engine rebuilder in my diorama) would use to show engines at car shows. Here are the questions: What would be the likeliest side opening (for display) used? Flip up trailer sides (big and likely heavy panel to raise) or roll-up canvas sides? Where should I put the WIP, dioramas, cars or all the rest?
  9. And so, Mr.Watson is also a cinematographer. What is next?
  10. This one almost fooled me. My daughter and a kit Countach some 30 years ago.
  11. Thank you sir.
  12. 1936 Fairbabnks-Morse Z (Hit & Miss) engine. Loosely copied on a friend's.
  13. It is done, hope you like it. Have to do a cart or skid for it.
  14. Are there any1:24/1:25 tractors? They all appear to be 1:16.
  15. Luvin' it Ken.
  16. Make her a few 3D pendants and she'll come around.
  17. Merci Francis. I get most of them on eBay from breakers (those who separate a kit and sell it in pieces). I have several that are 3D printing and I have semi scartchbuilt several using junk engines.
  18. Exhaust turned around. I suppose the mistake came from the mind being conditioned to aim the exhaust towards the transmission.
  19. Lamborghihi Countach 5000S. DOHC V12, 4.75 L/ 370 hp. The backward facing exhaust will be rectified.
  20. A Lamborhini engine is nearing completion, they're waiting on the exhaust system to arrive . An Acura NSX is getting its air conditioner replenished.
  21. Glad you like it. This scrounging and turning stuff into something else is half the fun.
  22. Niiiiice!
  23. I will use the Lego Straightenerupper to get the wheels on straight. Added details to the cylinder head, the valve pushrod, the fuel line, the carb control valves and the muffler.
  24. The ends of these guns wil provide grease cups.
  25. Working on the reciprocating assembly. Now I have to somehow cut the centre part of the shaft as it goes through the crank.
