  1. Installed the fifth wheel. Gave it a good smear of first class number 1 fifth wheel grease AKA Permatex gasket sealant.
  2. Ours had it on the hood but I can't remember if it was a problem or not. Of course we were much younger.
  3. Beautiful job. What toy line is the excavator from? And where did you get the tracks?
  4. The instrument panel and interior are completed. Cut off the resin lenses and replaced them with PE lenses.
  5. Then I'll capitalize my WOW!!!
  6. Nice work, what scale?
  7. Watching and learning. Thanks for the free lessons and the pleasure of watching this emerge out of thin air. This is the hex punch I use. It is from UMM, http://umm-usa.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?products_id=9072 .
  8. Love it. That house brought back some moemories. I might have been inside it. Nice work.
  9. Finding a box of old models is what brought me back to the hobby. While most have had a few loose pieces glued back on and displayed, there are several that were taken apart and redone, a few of them rebodied in the process. I have to agree , they were very satisfying.
  10. ?
  11. I wish the others were as detailed as he is. The only other one who comes close is the big guy.
  12. The new staff are at work. the partners are discussing bringing more on.
  13. I think that is what he's doing, however I intend to make him examine a small part, like a carb.
  14. I purchased two new "employees" and a gorgeous Alfa 158 engine. I cut off the arms of the one guy and reattached them in a "at the bench" position.
  15. It think so too. It might also be because they bring back memories of trucks I knew, but I do older trucks amost exclusively.
  16. An Alfa 158 engine and some guys to work on it.
  17. Oh yessss. lookin' good!
  18. Added u-bolts to thew front. Ended up having to remove the axle from the truck to be able to do it. This could have been done a lot more easily earlier. welcome to the golden age.?
  19. I put the axle above the springs rather than below as it was before. That leveled it. Not sure how it would affect the load bearing in real life though. All the weight would be on the u-bolts.
  20. Thanks Warren. Last night, added u-bolts to the rear suspension and trial fitted the driveshaft.
  21. Moved the tie rod to the front as it interfered with the oil pan. Fabricated an exhaust using wire and parts bin stuff.
