  1. Had to modify the turbo shield and intake duct slightly to clear the sloping hood of the Stude. Same with the intercooler duct.
  2. Welcome aboard. I am working on a Studebaker as we peak. You will like it here.
  3. Very well done. I also love your grass.
  4. Never even heard of it. My first thought was Volvo 760.
  5. We lost another great, author, adventurer and classic car collector extraordinaire, Clive Cussler has passed. RIP Clive, and thank you for the countless hours of entertainment. https://www.cbc.ca/books/clive-cussler-adventure-novelist-dead-at-88-1.5476910
  6. Thanks,Carl.
  7. Chrysler Street Hemi, from the 1968 Road Runner kit. OHV V8, 426 cu.in./425 advertised hp.
  8. I had purchased the '62 Hawk from Missing Link.
  9. A street Hemi is getting the once over before shipping.
  10. A few years ago I built up this '62 as there was no '64 avaialable. It is a resin body over a '53 chassis with a semi scratchbuilt R4 engine.
  11. Thanks Christian. I sold it in 1998, after I purchased a 1947 Oldsmobile. Here's a few photos of it.
  12. After much fiddling and fussing, I think I got it. Now I can proceed.
  13. Superb.
  14. Yes David. It is certainly impressive. I would give some thoughts to adding reinforcement to the table legs. All those diecast have to weigh several hundred pounds... ?
  15. Then came the filling of the gaps in the rear wells.
  16. Narrowing the track in front required reducing the inside hub of the brake drum and sectioning the front suspension.
  17. Did you lay the grass down with one of those fancy applicators?
  18. The rear of the Stude is quite narrow. The fat tires of the Buick and the fact they are 1/24 almost make it look like a Pro Street.
  19. I love it. Working on one as we speak.
  20. Perhaps you'll get a commission.
  21. I think you nailed it Phil.
  22. I am liking this David.
