  1. This also is a ModelAlice background. It works quite well. I have another one with a warehouse image that doesn't get it at all. I think the colour and the angle of their shot make all the difference. They have several perspective images like Rich's above. I guess it ia a matter of finding the right one. They also have some street images where you park at the curb. I think I want to try one of those.
  2. Aston-Martin DB4, DOHC L6, 224 cu.in./306 hp. Made from a gift by Gramps46 (Gary McNutt).
  3. I looked. You are right, they appear very finely detailed.
  4. coming along nicely. Keep at it. I had asked earlier, did you cast the hood vent louversor did you cut them out of something?
  5. These are Replicas and Miniatures' side draft Webers with the supplied tubing for venturis installed and a bit of detailing. I find them beautiful.
  6. X2, verywell done!
  7. The coil is actually on the firewall. I put it there, and then made another one on the engine. Am I ready for the "home"? As far as the vacuum advance goes, i tested it and it works.?
  8. I think I have one that would fit the bill.
  9. ?
  10. Added the vacuum line and the wiring. The engine is almost ready to install.
  11. Steve, have you considered the Thunderbolt's ducts?
  12. Fascinating!
  13. What a beautiful machine. I can just imagine what it cost new.
  14. ?
  15. Worked on the interior. I had painted it the same color as the car with the intent to fill in the inserts with different colors but it looked too gaudy. So I picked two colors that are plausible as I couldn't match anything in the photos I saw. I have a set of seat inserts coming from Keith Marks. Then there will be a few rounds of touch ups. added the fuel line to the engine.
  16. Thank you all of you for the kind comments. I was lucky and didn't any of the paint gremlins I normally do. And Bill, that is how I did it , in three sessions of about 1.5 hours.
  17. Foiled and cleared. Guess what? I forgot to highlight the shutlines before clearing. welcome to the golden age......
  18. Had to try it on the chassis. Began the foiling.
