I'd like a quote on two straight 8s, one Pontiac one Buick, shipped to P5N 2M2 in Canada.

      Thanks, Pat

      Pat,

The engines are $18.50 each. Shipping to Canada would be $15.00. However given the long lines at the P.O. because of the holiday you'd have to wait for shipping until after Christmas. As there's no way I want to stand in line for an hour or more to mail a package with the customs forms etc.

      Ken

  2. A Porsche engine was on the forklift anticipating the arrival of the customer. However, he showed up in a Bonneville pickup with no tailgate. The engine will have to be switched to the hoist.
  3. Porsche 914-6. SOHC Flat 6, 2L./110 hp. This is the rather plain Revell unit which I detailed a bit to give it life.
  4. Ah, OK. I was planning to use it. In any case I'll paint it and will dry fit it. If it doesn't cut t, I'll just install the stock bumper. as for direction, I'm looking at this. I have a copper color that is close. the only drwaback to this is I won't be able to use the provided seat inserts.
  5. I was planning to. Do you want it? I could live with just the fender skirts.
  6. Took this out of the box and started sanding & filing.
  7. Oh I love this. ?
  8. Coming right along.
  9. I am not that sophisticated Carl. All joking aside, I am using a Model Master color called SAC Bomber Green at the suggestion of a member here.
  10. Don't worry about it. The first part of my question was about the car (which looking back on it wasn't clear at all), then yes about the blower. As for the carbs, the instructions call them "weber" but in quotation marks. Is that because they weren't sure?
  11. More engines. Lincoln Zephyr V12 Ardun and a Pratt & Whitney R-1680 radial
  12. I thought the lower case o was a typo but it is actually correct. Here's what I found, didn't know that: Not mentioned in the previous post, but perhaps everyone knows, S.C.O.T. stood for Supercharger Company Of Turin. Or so the legend goes.
  13. Here is one of mine. It is scratch built. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/123724-1974-dodge-bighorn-done/page/6/
  14. Thanks guys. I might just build the stock version for the collection and put the supercharger in the dio somewhere until I need it to put into a project.
  15. 1937 Ford V8. L-Head V8, 221 cu.in./85 hp.
  16. Yes. Before there were places the fork lift couldn't access and they had to transfer stuff to dollies etc. Now they can bring it just about anywhere.
  17. It is slightly used but will fulfill the needs.
  18. 1937 Ford Panel Truck Modifications: 460 cu.in. V8 Modern large wheels with low profile tires. Nascar type rear suspension
  19. Thanks Leroy. Does the arrangement have a specific name?
  20. Did that thing actually exist? Is the supercharged engine based on something real or is it a figment of someone's imagination? I have never seen a supercharger like this, almost like a Latham but more modern.
  21. ?
  22. And here it is.
