How do I paint the two different colors on this truck? I'm planning to paint the white part first, then mask it off with masking tape and last paint the black part. How do I mask the white without peeling it off when I remove the masking tape?

so this is a clear coat? no hint of gray color?

I just bought a spray can of Model Master Metalizer No Buff Sealer (Testors 1459). Is there a special step or trick for this? Or can I just spray it on and that's it? And what they mean by "No Buff"?

Thank you guys! That answers my question. Back in 1979 or 1980 I did a kit that looked like a W900 and I'm trying to figure out if it was in fact a W900.

But I mean with the Aerodyne sleeper.

Was there a Kenworth W900 Aerodyne kit made in the 70s in any brand or any edition on this style?

It would be nice to have the real form but I've never seen them on the Bay or anywhere, unless you buy an old kit. I bought a 70s truck kit recently but did not include this form. I do remember I bought the Peterbilt poster on the bottom line. Wish I still had it.

Back in the 70s and 80s I remember that AMT truck kits included a form to order posters called, "Truck um up posters" or something like that. I have an image of the back of that form and I'm looking for the other side of this form. Anybody has that front part of this form that could post it here? Thank you very much. angel

Will brake fluid affect glued parts? You know, like unglue the parts?

Love this kit. I didn't even painted it. Just like I did it over 30 years ago.

Won't it bleach the colors also?

Is there a fix or tip on "yellowing" decals? Just bought a kit from the late 1970s and the decals can be removed with water and applied but they have this yellowish on the clear parts of the decal. I want to apply them to a white background. Thanks for any tips.

I thought about masking it but my skill level is not that good I think. I might try Terry's idea. Sean; I searched for the post you referred to but could not find it.

I'll be starting this kit pretty soon. I'll do it exactly as shown in the box art. My question is how to do the red stripes between the white and black colors. I was hoping the red stripes were decals but they are not. I'm stuck here. Thanks for the tips. Angel

Are those slammed trucks for show only or do they work like any other trucks out there? They look nice though.
