  1. Sean: Just placed the order for just one set and it went thru with no problems.
  2. I'm going to place an order. I'll let you know how it goes.
  3. Another from Hobby Lobby with 40% off. The plan is to replicate the one from the photo. Modeltrucking has the right decals.
  4. What about the engine color on a 70s coe Freightliner?
  5. I tried that myself and I personally find gloss black hard to apply. I always got tiny bubbles. Flat black is a lot easier to work with. I clear coat now flat blacks with Testors High Gloss Clear.
  6. Check Tim's site. One of my favorites. http://public.fotki.com/mackinac359/peterbilt-model-gallery/california-hauler-2014/
  7. Hey Terry. I got your same California Hauler at Hobby Lobby also, with a 40% discount. Love Hobby Lobby!
  8. Beautiful combination of colors. You did a professional job for a first big rig. I would push the rear tires out over the wheels a little more. One of my favorite kits, I have two of these.
  9. Looks like a good thread to me.
  10. Coincidentally, for the last few days I've been looking over all the internet and mostly ebay for a pup trailer but they are very limited and the very few you find are ridiculously expensive. Finally I gave up and thought about doing the same thing you are doing but my skill level is not that good. But I see you are good at it. So if you are willing to sell at least one of those let me know.
  11. And don't forget our Daisy BB Guns.
  12. This is a beautiful funny car. I really mean it.
  13. Thanks. I only have the Fruehauf flatbed trailer and a 3 axle gravel trailer. Would the flatbed be realistic for this truck? I know the gravel trailer would be too heavy.
  14. I don't mind the issues.
  15. Thank you all. The fifth wheel bothers me a little as it sits too far forward because it is molded on the frame so I could not move it back. And because of my skill level I could not come up with a solution.
  16. Funny cars are my favorites since I was a kid ( I had the Monza or was it Vega? in 1/16 back then) but the Army funny car was and is the top one in any of the different bodies. Man, I really mean this, "you did a great job here". How much you want for it?
  17. Makes me want to buy one. I like it.
  18. I thought I was done with this truck but I decided to put on black front fenders, also covered the two gaps on the bottom back of the cab with a license plate and an "aux air tank". And removed the ugly looking mud flaps decals.
  19. The real gravel detail is outstanding as is the whole truck and trailer. Is it all gravel to the bottom? Or did you use a "false" bottom? I wanted to do this on my trailer but I was afraid that if I fill it up with gravel it would be too heavy on the plastic. I also thought of about mixing the gravel with glue and put a false floor so I would not need a lot of gravel but never got around to do it.
  20. I honestly say, "WOW!!.
  21. I think I remember you posted a few questions with problems with the two tone paint. Your effort and perseverance paid off.
