  1. This one is really nice. Looks so clean and sharp. I myself am working on one of these but in 1/32 scale.
  2. Yep, I mostly did glue bombs. Been doing kits since I have memory, mostly drag racing cars. The more decals they had, the better. I used all of them. I do trucks now.

  4. It looks so real! Great job.
  5. No Alclad here. Just rough corners now.
  6. You don't see this everyday. Outstanding!
  7. This is what I got now. A little narrow but still working on it. I still want to replace it if I can find one.
  8. Nice photo Anthony, and thanks for the tip. And Thanks again guys for the good feedback!
  9. Yep, I just did that. But I did cut a little from each corner. Now the corners look funny but at least it don't look wide. I think I messed it up. If somebody has an extra bumper for this I'll buy it.
  10. Thank you guys for the nice comments. I'll also take comments on how to make the bumper look better.
  11. This paint scheme was called "Elizabeth" back then. Just finished it. Franklin Mint did this one years ago in 1/32 and I could never afford it so I made my own. The only thing I don't like is that the bumper is too wide. I did not use the front brake drums as the axle was too wide so now the bumper looks even wider. But overall it is a nice kit.
  12. I like this. I'll be trying it myself. Thanks for sharing!
  13. Just learned a new trick. Thanks Andy. Like your Vette a lot.
  14. How do you make such a nice cut in the fender?
  15. Wait a minute! Did you extend the cab? Now I really like it.
  16. Thanks Ken, I'll give it a try. Good idea.
  17. Looks so clean. What did you use for the front flares on the front fenders? I'm working on this kit myself now and been wondering about those flares as they don't come in the kit.
  18. Looks ok to me. Mine is exactly like yours.
  19. They don't go together. They go like an inch apart from each other. And yes, they are one piece only each.
  20. I wish I had known before, to request the day off at work. Too late now. I've been to that museum a couple of times.
  21. Thank you Dan! I bought the Lindberg (IMC) trailer and ended up cutting half of one of the halves. So now it is approx 13 inches long. I want to make a 28' trailer, single axle. Still in progress.
  22. Man I wish I had seen your photo before. The problem is made worse just because of the rivets as you don't want to remove them by sanding them thinking they are accurate.
  23. I'll do what you suggested. Leave the brake drums out. Oh and the cab release levels also.
