  1. Cute little one!!!
  2. Glue is essential. As you build, you will know which tools you need as their need arises. If there is paint (even chrome) on those parts you are trying to put together, it will be harder for them to stay together. Scratch any paint off and then you'll see how easy they'll be. I use masking tape sometimes to hold parts together and to paint.
  3. Scarily good build. From The Munsters TV show, of one my favorite shows. Your build here was featured in the episode titled: "Hot Rod Herman".
  4. Man, this is a beautiful Cadillac.
  5. So many nice details. Really good.
  6. Thanks for posting this photos. Tell Tim we really enjoy these photos of his really nice builds. We would like to see some of the others.
  7. You should title this thread; "Is it real or is it a model?" . Looks so real. You are an artist man!
  8. Awesome job Dave!! One of my favorite trucks. I just finished one like yours and I'm currently working the Bandit Trans Am. It's amazing to me how you guys can rework a kit that was put together years ago. Looks great.
  9. Best gasser I've seen in a long time. Excellent build.
  10. That guy's got guts!
  11. WOW Mark! This one truly looks good.
  12. Man you know how to build. Really nice.
  13. A nice tribute to Bill Maverick.
  14. Aircraft have a lot of good detail inside. But for what? I also wondered. Then I saw this.
  15. My type of car. Beautiful. Been looking for one of these but they are hard to find. Everything looks good on this one.
  16. Thank you Hakan. The decal set came with two gold emblems. I had a hard time deciding between the two but since it didn't come out as an authentically replica of the Snowman truck I decided for the red one. I might still switch to the gold one. The tires on this kits are a little bad.
  17. You make some nice trucks! You scratch-build some too, don't you? I'm beginning to like those trailer side skirts.
  18. Thanks. That's one of the flaws on these Snap Kits. The tires are not completely straight. The front ones fit much better than the back.
  19. That's why Sean. They are very good decals though and look better in person. Ben, the little trailer is a Maisto brand. It was blue and I painted it black. I printed the mural on my printer. The tractor was also painted and I used automotive gold stripes. And cheap too. I wanted to use the AMT W925 but was too expensive. Thank you guys for the good comments. Bad ones also welcome.
  20. Thank you guys! That's how the decals came out and why I don't really want to call it the Snowman truck but at least a close copy. As I said at the beginning "not a real accurate replica but close enough".
  21. Not a real accurate replica but close enough. Made out of a Revell Aerodyne Kenworth (Snap Kit). Bumper courtesy of Sean (Old Buckaroo) . Thank you Sean. I can say decals are also courtesy of Jerry from Model Truckin. I messed up the first set and they helped me out greatly with another set. Thank you Jerry. Still working on final details.
  22. I like the red one a lot. Is that a dually?
  23. Good idea KJ.
