  1. Man you're posting some real nice stuff here! Keep'em coming.
  2. They all look great but the Cruiseliner is the best. Great modification. Could you post a few pictures of the Mack?
  3. Man this is a Classic. It's beautiful. Do you have the empty box of this kit?
  4. Thanks for posting this. I love this truck. You did an excellent job here.
  5. For some reason I just love single drive trucks. This one looks real good.
  6. I'm there myself now. I think the fluid looses its potency after a few uses. I'm using a toothbrush to help loosen the paint and it's working. The more coats of paint the harder it'll be. Mine had like six coats.
  7. I like the box stock looks. I've done at least six of these kits between the Petes and KWs. The problem is that the newer boxes say it requires glue but they don't really need glue. Older boxes of these kit say they are Snap Tite. Why now they "need" glue? beats me. Maybe to attract veteran builders.
  8. Great combos!! Love construction equipment too. If I may suggest, I would pull out the rear tires of the truck over the lip of the wheel.
  9. This will be good for sure.
  10. I got to say, you are good at this stuff!!
  11. Remember there is a small issue with the front axle on this kit. I had to move mine a little forward.
  12. Wow man, this is real heavy duty building. Looks great! Why all orange?
  13. I like this truck. I like what you did to the chrome plated parts.
  14. Nice combination. I've been wanting for some time to do a truck with a white chassis. They look great. Maybe my next one will have it. I see you replicated the one in the box art.
  15. Actually I was just looking in my parts box for the more modern front wheels. I only found the ones from the Snap kits which are the same as in the poster but more cheap looking also. So if anybody has two of them extra, let me know. A little progress here. Just opened the box.
  16. I'll try to replicate the Pete from the Truck Um Up posters from the seventies (California Dreamin). Got the decal set already. I'll use the tow bed for a future project. This kit includes a 36" sleeper.
  17. Wow that Chevy looks great Mark. Sometime ago I messed up a white job by using Testors High Gloss Enamel. The thing has a yellowish tint. Didn't know it then. I thought that the "two part system" meant that I needed some coat of something before applying the actual red.
  18. Did you see Sean's? It is a nice one.http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/109982-bj-the-bear-kw/#comment-1566787
  19. Thanks Tom. So I don't need a primer or anything else before I spray the red?
  20. Bought one of these today. The label says," Two part system. Base + Clear required". What exactly that means?
  21. ?????? WOW Sean, this is outstanding. That front grill is neat. It does bring back memories of one of my favorite shows.
  22. It's a great website. That's one of the sites I used for reference. BJ and The Bear is my next project by the way. I have the kit and decals.
  23. This is a hard color to match. I would say both are Ok.
