That's why Sean. They are very good decals though and look better in person.
Ben, the little trailer is a Maisto brand. It was blue and I painted it black. I printed the mural on my printer. The tractor was also painted and I used automotive gold stripes.
And cheap too. I wanted to use the AMT W925 but was too expensive.
Thank you guys for the good comments. Bad ones also welcome.
Thank you guys! That's how the decals came out and why I don't really want to call it the Snowman truck but at least a close copy. As I said at the beginning "not a real accurate replica but close enough".
Not a real accurate replica but close enough. Made out of a Revell Aerodyne Kenworth (Snap Kit). Bumper courtesy of Sean (Old Buckaroo) . Thank you Sean. I can say decals are also courtesy of Jerry from Model Truckin. I messed up the first set and they helped me out greatly with another set. Thank you Jerry. Still working on final details.
Great job! I saw many of those growing up. My father was a cabinet maker and there were all sizes of those in his shop. By the way, I have an old rusted hand saw and I been planning in "restoring" it for a while.
The Walmart near me had a lot of kits and even had spray Testors paints. They still have a few kits but no more paints. Why?, because people opened the sprays and painted all over the shelves.
This photo is from the American Industrial Truck Models website. I bought one of these. Very nice headache rack.
The thickness is 9 mm. The center section is aprox 4 mm.
Height is 58 mm not measuring the support.
Width is 72 mm
You got all the right colors, including the green interiors, gold engine. Really like it. If I may suggest, I would paint the Bulldogs gold for an all American engine and transmission.
