  1. Glad to see Sesto now don't have to spend $300 for autoart one. Is the Diablo going to be spider or coupe?
  2. I have the 1/12 003. Had a lot of chrome to try and replicate aluminum. The ebbro kits are nice I have the jps lotus. They have tamiya paint codes in instructions. The decals don't like microsol, left what looks like water spots on them.
  3. Go to tamiyausa.com only ones not on there as far as I know are Matra MS11, lotus 49b gold leaf. The lotus 72d and 78 use to have John player special decals but the got rid of them. The Ferrari 641/2 is on there with no pics there was 2 versions of it the normal and one that came with extra cowl in clear. I believe that's all of them. Hope this helps. If you're looking for some let me know I have a couple I am getting rid of.
  4. Like how the bottom is clear so you will be able to see the frame after its built.
  5. Here's another one you can get it for different paint brands straight and corner sections with drawers wall mount. http://m.ebay.com/itm/290773900755?nav=SEARCH
  6. Kilrathy10 thanks for your service. Nacho I have about 20 hours in it. Still need to finish up the land vehicles that came with it. I also have 1/350 tamiya enterprise, 1/350 special edition. h.m.s. warspite from academy. That's was a very nice kit includes wood deck brass pieces for barrels and masts. And photoetched Pieces. And a low price definitely recommend. And here is link to yamoto. Had the tamiya Missouri also but it fell from about 6 ft so it went to trash. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93416&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
  7. All my Christmas orders finally arrived. except micronitro is still making me some wheels.
  8. The fujimi 1/16 f40 is a nice kit. Rear bumper mount is a little delicate. I have heard the revell kits aren't very accurate.
  9. Used tamiya ts-16. It is finished and in underglass section now.
  10. Started Tamiyas 1/12 312b. Pretty simple kit parts count isn't to high. This is whats needed to make 1 side of rear wing. rear ducting some assemblies ready for paint.
  11. My kit came with a set of extra white decals that were not yellowed. The black band came of sheet ok. But when I went to slide in to final spot it just fell apart. So I tried to put it togther the best I could. And hit any cracks with black paint.
  12. Just finished up this build. Typical Tamiya build no real issues. Since its and older kit the tubing is hard and dose not like to bend. and the decals are brittle. the black band around the cockpit ripped in about 10 places while applying. And they don't stick very well, a coat of future solved that.
  13. moving along now. I like how the ground effects actually move on this model. I didn't worry about ejector pin marks on under tray since radiators and inter coolers cover them.
  14. Small update the yellow was driving me crazy the shade wasn't right. So to the purple pond it went then painted it with right shade. Working decals now. after repaint
  15. This is crazy running around 7000 rpm. Judging by title took a while to figure it out. http://m.youtube.com/watch?hd=1&v=kx_j1ixjxac
  16. Nacho harness is in kit. Standard Tamiya cloth sticker harness. Not adding anything to kit except paint and glue. Just felt like doing something easy. Not liking the yellow at all think I will strip it and respray. The panels I have on already put on just pop off. One of the great things about 1/12 scale lots of it bolt togther. The tolerance of the parts is tight had to open up a few holes. And since this is an original release kit the tubing has been in rolls and dose not want to cooperate.
  17. Started Tamiya's Re20 1/12 F1 car. Just doing a quick box build. I think my Yellow is off ,i used wicked yellow for it.
  18. Just saw this and thought even for a mustang it's cool. Ford guys might be a little unhappy with the engine choice. http://m.youtube.com/watch?hd=1&v=wtJFQRMJbYo
