55 Buick Special.

Started a trade couple weeks ago with a member. Went to Fedex 2 Fridays ago paid $50 to ship package to him. He lives in another country. Message him give him tracking number. He says great, he will send mine out last monday. Well Monday goes by no word then on Wednesday fedex says address for him dose not exsit. I pm him multiple times no answer. I can see he is reading messages. Then Friday pm and say hey I am going to cancel delivery. And guess what finally get message. Saying he called fedex and fixed address issue. And my package still has not gone out. I looked him up on the good trader thread and others had no issues. I understand things happen people get busy.but to not pm and say something is messed up. I am still hoping he mails it today but still no word form him about it. I guess this will be my last trade, unless I get things first. now I might he out $50 shipping and $100 worth of kits. Not like I can drive to another country and get my stuff. Some people just suck.

Worst kit I have done would be minicraft 300sl. Fit problems, the frame was the worst. Huge mold seams, and sink marks. But turned out all right with some filling sanding and clamping. Still don't think I will buy another minicraft.

I would say Tamiya is the best model company by far. Their quality control is outstanding. All it takes to build a Tamiya is put some glue and paint in the box shake it around and out pops a great model. Other model companies need to study Tamiya. And imo they have the best instructions.

Thanks guys. Kit decals seem to go good fo me. If i could only get carbon decals to go good. I have a Mercedes SLR with carbon body (Scale Motorsport full month set) and couldn't get the bubbles out to save my life. Maybe I'll post that disaster later.

Thanks guys this build is 4 years old. Added the photo etched set to it. Can't remember which on. For some reason I painted it flat black. When I pulled it out of storage yesterday I put future on it. Think I will try to find another one and redo it. Only ones I can find are expensive now. If i could find the decals I would just strip it.
