I have both the 65 Bonneville Promo and the 65 Oldsmobile Promo. The one I don't have is the 65 Wildcat convertible. I've repainted it and used new kit supplied bumpers on it. Just need to finish the chrome trim. I subbed a kit interior in it as well so I could detail paint the dash. I haven't touched the Olds kit. I may just leave it or do some detail painting on the taillight area. I DO NOT have the one shown below. It showed up on the bay for sale at a really high price that I couldn't justify paying, but I did get pictures though ?

There are a couple of people on here who are pretty much negative about anything Round2 does. I'm just going to ignore them because they are whiners and don't get the costs involved in doing these niche kits. Yeah, wake up and smell the coffee, people who are interested in a 54-year-old model kit, let alone that old of a car, are dwindling. Our numbers are going down every day. Round2 decided that there was enough interest in it for the few people left to give us one that will not cost us $400 from evilbay. I am definitely interested in getting both the coupe and convertible of this kit. I don't mind the simplified frame (anyone here put together the 40 parts needed for the AMT 50th anniversary Camaro rear suspension?). Detail is nice but up to a point. A 350-part kit takes three times as long to put together, and hey, we "aint gettin' any younger!" For all of you who are going to get multiples of this kit anyway, I just looked on Harts Parts and he has the MPC bumpers, grille shell, grille, and hood (if needed) to help in converting the 68 into a 69. You will have to modify/make a valance panel to go under the new grille and figure out something for the rear taillight and side scoop treatments, but with a little work you could have a 69 Coronet R/T as well. (Harts Parts has the Monogram taillight and side scoop assembly, but they are 1/24 so some downsizing would be required. Although Round2 could do that easy enough by creating a tree with these parts on it. So, Round2, I love what you are doing! I have 4 of the 63 Nova kits (2 with engines, 2 without), 2 each of the 64 Cutlass convertible & 442 hardtops, and I am waiting for your 66 Mustang fastback to appear. I know of a certain 67 Mustang kit that I can get a better frame and engine from if I want. So, keep up the cloning/improvements on the old kits. Let me put in my wants since everyone else has: 66 Buick skylark; 61 Pontiac Bonneville Hardtop; 65 Chevelle, yes, I'll take the craftsman version if is all you got for me; 65 Falcon; 65 Fairlane; 65 Imperial; 65 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88; oh, and dig around, I really want a 65 Wildcat convertible! I know, it's only a promo but you could mold the parts and throw it in a box for us. Thanks for your time, keep up the good work.

Painted Testors' flame red with Testors' ultra-gloss clear coat. Started back in February 2019, finally got the decals on it today. I cut a few corners getting it done, like the rear frame blocks, (I got them someplace), turn signal lenses (again, I got them someplace, and maybe someday they will be out on). Thanks for looking all comments welcomed.

With a dremel, #11 blade, sanding sticks and patience. Thanks for the complement.

First stage of painting on BM Camaro is done. I shot the auto-touch up white yesterday and the MCW rally green today. Plans call for installing the decals then clearing it with some Tamiya TS-13. Thanks for looking all comments welcomed.

Yesterday I used almost a whole can of flat black paint to do the interiors and frames on two of these builds. I just had to see how they looked sitting on wheels. Thank you for looking all comments welcomed.

You all know how it is, you shoot a model. Think it's great, share pics. Then you look a bit more closely and discover that paint job was not that good. Yeah. I needed to wet sand the Camaro convertible and put some more coats on it. Here is the finished product.

Another Camaro project started. This time it's the convertible by Revell. Painted Tamiya TS-86 Pure Red. Here it is before the paint, mocked up with a set of AMT Firestone tires and Revell 69 Nova SS wheels. I finally figured out what is wrong with the Revell SS wheels, they are molded without the trim rings installed. A set of these from the AMT 69/70 Chevelle kit looks much better. They are the ones I'm using on the Revell 69 Chevelle. Thanks, all comments welcomed.

It is a nice kit, but you do have to put the sub frame in last after the floor pan is in. I solved my problem with the orange plastic by painting mine hugger orange ?

That Chevelle is coming along nicely. I've got one that I did the black bottom on it first. I actually started to build the 68 Chevelle and El Camino together but ran out of steam on them. I should resurrect them and get them completed. What bummed me out was when I compared the kit interiors to real life cars and realized neither one was accurate, although the Revell interior is a bit more accurate than the El Caminos.

This is a fun kit! I have five of them, actually six. One completed when it first came out, four more in various stages of completion, and 1 still in the box I want to turn into a 68. Stock build of the SS Nova Yenko 427 Nova Nova SS with cross-ram intake from 69 Camaro SS 396 version Home grown 396 powered Nova I built in 2008.

I could see myself cruising around in this! These MPC 67 Bonnivilles are like Layes potato chips, you can't have just one! The silver one is another annual kit while the gold one is a promo that I bought for parts and decided to repair the big hole in the trunk. Thanks for looking. All comments welcomed.

Got this last year as a bult up. I removed the old paint and reshot it with some Tamiya paints. I reshot it today with Testors' Lime Ice over that Tamiya color. I think I like this color now! Thanks for looking all comments welcomed.

Finally started putting this one together. Interior, windows, taillights, frame all installed. Just need to put the rear pan on, bumpers, grille, etc..
-
Going with a white interior for this one.
-
Mockup of body, frame and interior together.
-
So, had to change to change the color on the 67 Camaro since I painted the interior the same color as the body and there was no difference in the color. I grabbed a can of Tamiya TS60 Pearl green and shot it directly over the clear coated artisan turquoise. What do you all think of the new color now? Before After

This one is painted with Testors' brilliant aqua with Testors' wet look clear. Thanks for looking all comments welcomed.
-
I just got this one painted after figuring out what color I wanted it. Testors' artesian turquoise with Testors' wet look clear.
-
I got some color on this one, unfortunately I grabbed the wrong paint and it's shot with Testors' Chrysler Daytona yellow. Oh well. Testors' wet look clear was used as a final coat. Thanks for looking all comments welcomed.

My wife, nephew and his wife, and I are jetting off to Iceland April 1st, so it may be a while before I get back to this one.

It looks really good. There is a very small pin hole in one of the rear fender areas that should not be too hard to fix.
