Well I for one will miss him being here, I know some people had issues with him but I did not, then again I tend to like blunt truthfulness from people who can back it up with proven facts. Hate to see him go.

So here's my entry sorry the pictures are fuzzy, had to use something I'm not used to in order to post.

Hood latches
cowboy rich replied to mdlbldrmatt135's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It's not letting me load the others I'll try taking the pictures different tomorrow the hood strap though is 9" long and 2" wide. Of course it would be the ones with the tape measure that didn't want to attach. -
Its is the quick and the dead. You were close!!

I'm a little confused (easily done), are you talking about the latch for modern trucks or for the older butterfly hoods? I'm asking because I haven't seen them that small on today's trucks hoods more on battery boxes and such. The latch on mine is more like 6-8" I can try and post a picture when I get back home if it will help. -
how would you fix this?

Being your first try at such a job it looks good to me, I'd probably still be inventing new cuss words! -
Had to put brakes on my F-350 today came home from town yesterday and coming into the driveway started that WONDERFUL squeal. I was able to use the front rotors still but had one warped on the rear(I've known this) so replaced both on the rear new pads all 4 corners. Ok so the main irk (since I knew brakes were coming). WHY DID I HAVE TO RETOOL THREE TIMES!!! Front to rear I kinda get because of different suppliers but why is the rear different left to right?!

Rebuilding a 1:1
cowboy rich replied to 426 pack's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have to agree with Bill and Bob. I can not suggest moving forward with this venture if the goal is to make money. I've built a couple and while I did get decent money for the vehicle I was upside down. Just something to think about. -
Need a bobcat? Really I'm the same as most here I'm an animal lover and dont want to bring them harm if its avoidable (unless they taste good then make it quick)

Unfortunately repellents aren't legal here, but I'm still going to check it out. Thank you

Yeah, and it comes with the territory of having poultry, but it would probably like trap better than cross hairs. Trap take it to fish and game goes to the woods crosshairs...well no free ride. Dont mean to offend anyone at all but its getting old and irritating, so please dont take that the wrong way but I've trapped 10 kittens(dumped off) and 6 feral cats all of them went to homes except 1 that was diseased.

A bobcat got 2 of my chickens last night. Thought I had everything secured and the ferals, badgers etc taken care of and now this. It's taken 2 chickens and 3 ducks in a month, still cant get it in the trap!! Its getting old.

Well I cant conceal it as the 2 vehicles I have are an f350 and a sterling, so when I get the question (from a non-friend) immediate response is we need the the big one or little one? Big one 200 per hour little 100 per hour 3 hour minimum, they usually go way and if not throw in paid in advance. Friends is a different story, work with my schedule and I'll do it for dinner and a couple drinks. -
White glue for me also, and I normally do as has been mentioned and paint the base close to the same color.
