WHERE'S THE GARLIC

What did you see on the road today?
cowboy rich replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Lots of pretty country in California, I left norcal a few years ago after being there for around 10 yrs due to personal issues and came back to Washington state. All the places I've been California is one that you can be up to your butt in snow then drive a few hours and have your toes in the sand. California is a great place its just some of the politics I don' like, but that's everywhere. -

Thanks again for all the good info, we are working on getting things ready to truly get started on this, weather is playing nice so time for the work to start. I'm going to have to add a few tools to the collection, one of which will be a gun to spray it with, so here comes the questions. What would be a decent paint gun, I will only use it a few times so, no need for high end equipment, just need it to do a good job a few times. I'm even open to something from a pawn shop or harbor freight if I know what will do the job. I've done some body work in the past but I'm NO WHERE NEAR A PROFESSIONAL, so the next question would be what's a good filler all I've used before has been Bondo. Thanks again Rich

Apple's..with rare mention of all the wheat barley, potatoes, corn, and 75% of the domestic hops come from here. Ridge rider those that mistake Nampa Idaho for Iowa...well they just need to go to Iowa (I'm in Dayton Wa) they are getting to close!!! The map said property crime, theres not much of that where I'm at..then again everything's protected by Smith & Wesson around the area I'm in.

I know that guy? I'll decline.

That is just nuts, anyone involved with those jobs should be looking for new jobs, on a crew of mine they would be. On the jobs I have done I was lucky enough (most of the time) to have people working with me that ACTUALLY HAD PRIDE IN THEIR WORK Then the punch list at the end...mine was normally longer than the customers, or inspectors. Those two houses are a mess....very sad!

Several years of construction and working with cranes myself and have never seen that before. That' way funnier than watching the epoxy floor guy put him self into a corner. Could they just pull a panel or was it to late?

That's funny! I had an electrical inspector walk up on me one time while I was changing a capacitor on a machine and I hadn't discharged it yet, he tried to inform me I wasn't qualified to do it so I tossed it to him and said you do it then, mister smart guy caught it and got good little shock(our stuff is irritating not harmful on that level). Continued to tell me I'm not qualified, handed him my electrical license while saying at least I'm smart enough not to grab a charged capacitor! Bad thing is he walked up while I was taking it out and SHOULD HAVE KNOWN IT WAS CHARGED.

I am a refrigeration mechanic for supermarkets and I run in to this problem ALL the time, we had a transition period awhile back where the electrical Union was throwing a fit about us doing minor electrical work(changing breakers, contactors, and such) on refrigeration equipment to the point that the state changed the law to where only a licensed electrician could touch anything electrical that didn't just plug in, so for awhile I got the pleasure (sarcastic) of standing over someone's shoulder and telling them how to do their job!! The whole time it's right there in black and white one line drawings. Even have had to tell more than one how to balance multiple single phase loads over 3 phase power. It just seems to get worse daily.

My toy Truck from when I was a kid
cowboy rich replied to mchook's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I have to agree with the folks above this post, I'd let it be myself. But as mentioned it is your truck, just my opinion. Cool story and I like the truck I think it's pretty neat. -
That is nice

I don't think I'd hold my breath on Bill trying if he doesn't know the answer to THAT! You just might die instead.
