  1. Yes, but this thread is about new kits, not reissues.
  2. The Beall tanker has been reissued at least once since it's initial release. Truck modelers always claim they want this reissued and that reissued and when they reissue it, other than the prehistoric AMT kits, they languish on the shelves. And then after about two years or so when the reissues are hard to find you hear, I wish they would reissue that again.
  3. I think so too. Think it would sell?
  4. I actually find this much more interesting as a new kit coming from Aoshima in the near future.
  5. It seems Moebius is the only manufacture that has offered modern American semi trailer kits over the last 15 years or so. Do you think AMT/Round 2 will stop offering their ancient truck kits in exchange for modern subjects?
  6. Europeans seem to be fascinated by the American style bottom dump trailers.
  7. How does a spread axle aluminum Flatbed trailer sound for the next Moebius semi trailer kit sound?
  8. Nice reference pics.
  9. YOUR OPINION AND IDEA Dear Friends, for us it is extremely important to improve the involvement of all of you knowing your ideas and your opinions. We had already done in the last years and the support you gave us has been considered very important. We would like to thank you because of a lot of new scale models released in last years have been developed on your suggestions and advises. Some examples : the 1:48 scale British Hurricane series, the Short Stirling 1:72 scale, the 1:35 scale F-104 series, the 1:24 scale Iveco Stralis Hi-Way and, the new 1:35 scale Lince that will be released on June. Furthermore we have recieved a lot of idea about the release of classic models in our "back again" series as the 1:24 scale Reanault R360 or the incoming Cant Z 506 with upgraded moulds. Following our will to increase, more and more, the positive communication with all of you, we would like to ask you, once again, your advices and your ideas. Please, send an e-mail at idea@italeri.com answering the following questions: 1- Which 100% new scale model kit you would like to have in the next 2015 Italeri Catalogue. 2- Which are the scale model kits in our current line up you would like to improve (i.e. moulds improvement, details, new decals,…) 3- Which are the Italeri model kits of the past, not more available for years, that you would like to see once again in our “Back Again” series. We will publish some highlights of our survey to share with you the results. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. Italeri staff.
  10. I get my information from the same place you get it. I try not to read anything into the rules that aren't there. On the previous contests, there were heavy modified models In fact, most of the models they display are modified to one degree or another.
  11. I wonder if anyone could click on the link and read the rules.
  12. Italeri truck model contest. http://www.italeri.com/news_scheda.asp?idNews=601
  13. Not my build. Someone else took it a a model show.
  14. Another rehash.
  15. Nice pictures. Actually, their is a topic listed for 1 to 1 photographs under Truck Stop.
  16. I think they shouldn't have offered the kit in the first place, since is upset you so much. You would have been happier.
  17. Don't we all!
  18. I have a Gary Wallace Freightliner FLC SBA hood. It looks to be a nice conversion. I'll get to it at some point.
  19. Plaskit (Plaskit Resin) is now on Facebook.
  20. Shows the direction of the hobby. Back in the day the target audience would have been under 18 years old. The modeling hobby demographic has got to get younger.
