  1. tiger traps=unforeseen obstacles or issues that you "fall into" so to speak like a tiger trap on the jungle floor SO problems with the kit's fit etc
  2. Do these AMT kits have any tiger traps in them??
  3. Not really a car but it is a Deal's Wheels
  4. Thanks guys and Cato, tell me you haven't wanted take Mr Pocher out to the back alley and beat some sense into him...aka the other "Pocher Beating"
  5. Harry really is replicating the real car, she looks amazing!! The paint is just glowing, love the wraps on the springs and exhaust, floorboards of wood, magnificent seat...gosh I could go on and on
  6. Thank you gentlemen I plan on revisiting this in the future and refining a few items, hopefully with a little diorama. As I have said, just need to move onto something else to clear my head. Makes me think that when I do start the Pochers I will keep a little sideline project to go to when I want to light the Pocher on fire
  7. Not putting this into the under glass section yet as still some stuff I want to do to her, but I am pausing it to do other projects Here are some 'up to this point' pics

  11. God man, that all looks great. You are doing FANTASTIC!!! Some solid modelling skills there
  12. That sounds sweet Patrick happy Canada treated you well, you have probably seen more of the prettier spots than I have!! Funnily enough the Rocky Mountaineer train passed by my wife and I just yesterday morning as we drove to our house. I said to her "that is one trip on my bucket list" and she agreed. Seaplane flight out of Vancouver is another thing I have to do as well. Alaska trip for sure as well. So happy to hear you guys had a good time, I must have ESP and knew you were here
  13. That looks AWESOME!!!! I love all the WIP photos and banter....that is how we learn new stuff
  14. Ya those are great real vehicles, now show us the models
  15. Yes, what a great concept. Keep going and sharing the progress
  16. I like the look of those slicks with minimal tread Are you milling the rims???? That would be amazing to be able to do Some really cool stuff going on here in your little metal shop, my friend
  17. ahh, good, your soot looks fine. I heard this engine blew out a lot of oil as well. I like to black wash and slightly weather my builds, but likely won't make them look abused and uncared for....as I care for my own real cars obsessively .
  18. She is looking great, really coming together Is that weathering or overspray on the "F" of the fiat in the last picture???
  19. I wouldn't wash my butt for months after that ride Cool stuff both real and model
  20. Yep, your solid building skills are shining through. more great work!!! Hope you are having a good summer

  22. Good god look at that beautiful door I can't wait to see the chrome parts, we will need these
  23. Darn, was thinking you were on the mend as well since the great progress on the Fiat So sorry to hear of your pain. Nothing worse than pain making it too uncomfortable to sleep...my back does that every once in a while. Disk degeneration, sciatica or shingles?? Or do they even have a diagnosis yet??? hope you get sorted out
  24. Absolutely looks the business as they say. This will be a doozy of a model when finished
  25. Very nice If I said she has a nice rear end would I get slapped??? I usually do
