Happy Thanksgiving to all my fellow model builders.🦃👍

I was driving home yesterday,and saw a small yard sale.I wasn’t going to stop,I was tired and wanted to get home and eat dinner.But this little voice told me to stop,and check it out.So I turned around and pulled in.There’s was mostly useless garbage.But then I saw it.Three huge boxes of model car magazines SAE,Model Cars.And stacks of Model Car,Truck,and Motorcycle.Its a UK magazine,but it’s filled with some great articles a reference pictures.I then asked the guy how much for a few.Well that’s when he told me he was packing up and shutting down the yard sale.Before I got another chance to ask him how much,he said to just take all the boxes for free.He just wanted to get rid of everything.I just thought,what a score.I Thanked the gentleman,and loaded up my car with Like I said,three huge boxes filled with some great magazines.Enough to keep me busy while I’m sitting on the throne for weeks.🤣🚽👍

You go girl..🤣I think it’s awesome that you build models.Don't know too many woman that build models.I remember I tried getting my exgf into building models,but that didn’t work out.She kept saying she was ruining her nails by getting glue on them.🙄Sheesh.

I gotcha,hey whatever your interested in is fine.Ive seen some of your builds,and they are really good,better than some of mine.lol.I also use the internet for reference when building models.Back when I first started to build car models when I was a kid,we obviously didn't have the internet,so I just used magazines.Its a lot easier now.Just keep on building Michelle.👍

Nice collection,but I too was wondering where the car magazines were.🤷‍♂️I must have around a 1,000+ magazines and books,and probably 95% are car magazines and books.Never was much of a Sci Fi fan.

Yup same thing happened to me last year.My mailbox was ripped out of the ground and found about three houses down,under about 6 inches of snow.I called the highway dept,and surprisingly they replaced the mail box,no questions asked.I was shocked.

Keep an eye on that.The same thing happened recently to my 09 Crown Vic.It leaked.I filled it,it stopped.Thought I was in the clear.A few days later,it was empty again.I always keep spare fluids in my trunk.I filled it again,and a couple of days later,bam!!empty again.So I just changed the line and since then,she’s fixed.

Pure 100% laziness.Thats kids today for ya.They can’t do anything but mess with their phones,(which I’m actually doing now too),🤣

Incredible build.Was wondering,where did you get the rear rims,with Weld racing printed on them?They are amazing looking.

Thanks guys for all the advice.Yea there’s no problem getting a new ignition switch.But yes unfortunately it’s the same key for the locks,so I wouldn’t be able to lock the doors.No big deal though,I hardly ever lock my doors anyway.As long as I can drive the thing,that’s what’s important.I’ll try a couple of locksmiths,and Bob thanks for the name of Able locks on Sunrise.

Yes,Bob,it has happened,but then I usually find them left in another box,or under my bed.

Driving home today from a friends house.I pull up into an intersection.Across the street are two cops in the parking lot of a 7/11.I go through the intersection.I could see they were looking at my car.Its got no front plate,and the inspection is overdue..Anyway,I cruised past,but thank God nothing happened.

This is off the topic,and I’m sorry,please excuse me.I would up watching something like all 97+ killings from the Sopranos on you tube.Sorry again.Tons of classic lines in the show.
