The God father....Ok let's move on to more difficult quotes

I don't mind the cold.I mean as long as it's not -0..And I have to say that this winter hasn't been to bad..Its the sweltering heat and humidity that I despise. And it gets real hot in the summer here on Looonng Island.Iam not looking forward to that.Give me low 70s and with no humidity, and I'm happy.

Yea that does suck.Out for enjoyment one day,and dead the next.Life can be really short.Plus, not be disgusting or disrespectful to the couple, but if they were lost for a week or so,the wildlife around there must have had a feast.RIP

Hmm that's surprising,I've NEVER had any problems either with Slixx decals. And I'm sure Slixx will help in anyway they can. That is one great company with a great bunch of people working for them.Good luck.

It's weird,I never read this post before.I read it today for the first time.I was in a roll over accident in my Jeep back in 2012..I too had the same surgery about 3 years ago.The spinal cord stimulator. As you wrote, they hook up a temporary unit for 7 to 10 days with wires outside the body. Then they permanently implant the stimulator. If you've ever been to a chiropractor and they put on the vibrating pads where your pain is located. Then the pads are left on for about 1/2 hour.Thats what this surgery is,except they implant a battery and wires into your body near the area that is giving you pain. The patient then charges the stimulator battery every few days, and controls the strength of the vibrating through an outside unit.Well at first it worked a little for about 6 months or so,and then after awhile I just stopped using the unit.It wasn't helping me at all.And now to this day,I still suffer from lower back pain. And to top it off,I have a battery the size of a credit card in my body, along with the wires doing nothing.Ive been thinking lately about having it removed.I hope Gregg had better luck with his surgery..But for me,it was a waste of time and money, and I'm back to square one.Back on pain meds, and having no relief with the stimulator.

I have to agree with you gtx.,I mean I know it's an incredible car.Its just not my thing.I have to agree with you on the roof lines.

What did you see on the road today?
NYLIBUD replied to Harry P.'s topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Ok what is up with the import?I don't even know what kind of car that is.But the Charger, and the Fury are very cool looking cars just sitting there..The other car should be crushed or burned,or driven off a cliff. -
Thank you very much.I was just testing things on this car,and decided to rust it out.Even though if it was a real car,it would be a fiberglass body..But I think much of the Swamp Thing is made out of fiberglass. And the rusty wrap looks wild to me.I mean it could also be the fact that the car has the narrowed cut roof line,as well.

I just think the so called leaf puncher is just a cool idea, and simple.
-
Looks real good to me.

Yup I did see that layout. It was incredible.I actually just picked up the most recent issue of Damaged magazine at Barnes and Noble the other day.Great stuff in these issues if you are into weathering..Does anybody know if the magazine is going to be a regular monthly issue?
-
Wow that's some wild figures.Only problem,is there would be no way I could paint them the correct way.But again, definitely some cool stuff.
-
I call it Swamp thing 2.Its just a basic 3D printed 66 Promod Nova.I tried weathering it,but I think I used too much rust.I love the real Swamp Thing, that car is insane. The model has a full chassis from a diecast pro stock car,and Pegasus top fuel rear slicks,,,but no motor.

Nevermind sorry

I gotcha

Yea losing an hour of my beauty sleep,by having to turn the clocks forward last night. It just always seems to me,that we are changing our clocks earlier and earlier,in the spring and fall.I don't know, maybe it's just me.But all I know, like I said,is that I lose an hour of sleep.Ah what are ya gonna do.

I've gotta say that the winter here in NY,has not really been that bad overall. We only got around 8-10 inches of snow for the whole season.Thats nothing compared to most of our winters. And the temps haven't even that bad.We had a few cold days, here and there of course, and some wind, but nothing too bad at all.I was able to work on my car in my driveway throughout the winter, which has been great..But of course now that I wrote this,we are going to get a lot of snow for March. But let's hope not.?Anyway,no real complaints about the weather in my neck of the woods this year.

What pleased me was that I was able to install a new center console in my police intercepter Crown Vic.Easy as anything.Just pulled out the old one,and re drilled my new one in,1,2,3.And a friend of mine, and myself were able to install a lower front chin spoiler, which I really think beefs up the front end.First we drilled the holes on the chin spoiler, then lined it up,and used self tapping screws that I bought. We just went along, drilling every foot or so.We used about 10 self tapping screws. We also put on a double sided tape small spoiler, right above the rear window. So everything went on perfect. And that never happens.Plus it was only about 30 degrees out.
-
So I put on the lower front lip spoiler on the Crown Vic.I think it looks pretty good.We drilled it on with the hardware I bought and took us about an hour. But it was cold out.And a rear window, sort of deflector spoiler on top of the rear window..Thats the best I can explain it.And I installed the center console, and thats nice,& tight. So I just have to hook up the gauge pod????.Do that in the Spring
