  1. I would LOVE to find this information to locate such for a few '69 bodies I have, and would rather have something OTHER then a '69 Charger R/T!
  2. NOPE I've stopped at Wal-Mart, 2 different stores 2 different locations BOTH have WAY different merchandise for sale thinking one might have it on the off chance, NO LUCK! Then I tried the local K-Mart, they're even worse off then Wal-Mart the people there didn't even know what I was talking about! Then I was told try hardware stores, SO, off to Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, True Value, Aubuchon, even some small family owned hardware stores NOTHING! So, its under a DIFFERENT name? ARE you sure its the same stuff?
  3. BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH now I'M JELOUS! Nice model. I can't say much more then also have been said, but to have it autographed by Mss Daisy herself..... NOW thats something and to have your pic taken WITH her, is even more something WITH the car in your hand!
  4. You'd be correct, mine is however the older AAR version, it came molded in Lime Light green (Plymouth) from Monogram.....
  5. Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words! Makes it all worth while, ya know? There WILL be others like this, or sort of anyway to come!
  6. -I wanna try the stuff on car tires for adding decals and sealing gel pen ink to them, BUT for the life of me, can not get the stuff locally....... NO WHERE local to me carries it and most only to seem to remember it it, nothing more...... I'd actually pay someone for a bottle of it and cost of shipping if it can still be purchased!
  7. I'm not skeerd... its only plastic wash the stuff and yer good to go. toss the box if you think it is "alive"........ RECYCLE the box, the models well thats "Upcycling"....
  8. -I'd love to find a grille like this one has.... I got some bodies that are a '69 but be close to make a '70 with the proper grille.......... NIIICE JOB on the restore tho! WELL done!
  9. NIICE 'Cuda.... did it come withthe hood you have on it? I too have a '70 model that I'm planning out and I'm not not sure I'm really into the hood that came withthe car..... Its the AAR hood...... I'd like to do something just a bit different and the pitchfork hood looks good on the '70 (I think) so......
  10. -Any idea of engine goin into this 'Runner?
  11. Hey Dale.... This one looks VERY familiar!
  12. Thanks guys! Yes, I have to agree it is a difficult one to make it look good as the Chrysler grille "frown" is a difficult one to work with to make that happen! I hoped I did it anyway..... Again thanks for the kudo's, was a fun build no less, and I'd like to do more of the 50's Mopar's now (I was for a long time stuck on the muscle car era of Mopar but this one opened up a new door for me!
  13. The "pink" is Testors Model Masters "Panther Pink" from a bottle sprayed through my air brush. The roof color was a 2 phase paint, Testors flat white as the base and then Testors "Pactra" White Pearl over top of that and then Rustoleum Lacquer gloss over the whole car. HTH
  14. OK guys Dale asks for details on the engine (He's seen the whole build of this car) so. Here have a look at these: Doesn't look like much (size) in a "finished" car, BUT to see it BEFORE thecar was wrapped around it, its a bit MORE then you might first think...... A bit different when there are 140 pics to this single car taken as it was assembled!
  15. Thanks guys! Was a FUN build! The engine was the most in-depth part to the car...... Its got a custom made twin turbo feeding a custom made Hillborn injector set up on a 392 Hemi in it and lowered it a bit, and this particular car was thee first time I have EVER used Bare Metal Foil too......NEVER liked this model growing up, but I won it on a build off online and then turned right around and put it in another contest thats running right now...... Which saying that as a "Mopar guy" seems out ofplace not likingthe 300 BUT done this way I LOVE IT! I'd take a real one now, anyday!
  16. Whats this? A DIFFERENT HOOD!? YOU BET! NOW I BET your thinkin' ole John screwed up and had to do something to the hood to bring it back together... WRONG, I coughed up TWO hoods! My interior shots: My Undie of the 300:
  17. -Thanks Vince! As to the rest of you here, Vince is a great guy as well. traded me some items that well........... I have been lookin for! And has a bit more going both ways between us anyway! Thanks man!
  18. LOVE THIS! Where'd you locate the decals from? I got a VERY similiar truck to build....
  19. LOVE the tires, ANY smaller 4x4 tires from BnL?????? I'm unfamilar withthem and what size I needfor what I'm trying to achieve!
  20. you mean the hi-RPM cross ram, that has a single Holly 950 CFM on it? I have one, BUT I want to mold it!
  21. I have a donor kit for the frame and such to this resin casted body. whats something like that selling for?
