  1. I know you! Your on HT too! NICE dual Hemi's. from the '53 Ford! NICE!
  2. I make scale motors bigger then that thing...... THE SAME scale! Cool no less, any space to dump an aluminum Hemi in it?
  3. That would work, there really isn't to much different besides the end angles really, ansd with that ass you mentioned, IT could be made to fit, I bet easily! Finding the "Hemi Hydro" kit might be the issue! They still make it?
  4. Mike, Thanks for posting that on the club in Nashua! I wasn't even sure of the name of it to be honest so.....You a member or no? I may join that one, not sure yet....Nashua is a little bit of a haul too.....an hour ride one way!
  5. ALL the work LOOKS awesome, BUT my question is, (I did not real ANYWHERE in the posting) what is the Plymouth Moulon Rouge or Doge Panther Pink, come from? WHO made it, what brand? Lacquer or Acrylic? LOVE the Hemi details added!
  6. Mike, Where'd ya get the mopar engine Turquoise from? I've been searching for that now, for I can't tell you howe long. brushed or sprayed on the 440? The 426 would be GREAT on the stand, IF it had a single detailed head on the inside.....Like the valve rockers and stuff, that make it look as tho it was having its valve set on the stand..... I thought about scratch building a set of rockers shafts, with the arms on it for this very reason, BUT thats awful small work to do! BUT done right, it look GREAT when done! as far as the club in lowell,MA, yeah thats a bit of a haul for me in Concord! Question tho....wasn't there a model club in Nashua at one time? Last I knew they used to meet I THINK once a week at the city library.....Not even sure they are still around rtho, maybe not, or have they changed modeling items, and not doing cars anymore? Its been 5 years since I heard anything about this one particular club so.....
  7. Whats goin on with my current WIP....

  8. I'd love to see the old (lates 1980's) Western Star made to have that era bunk.....Italeri once did these but are really rare to find these days!
  9. The intake is different but definitly interesting! Whats that originally from that you plan to use on the old school Hemi?
  10. NICE Charger....I'll be following along as I have one of my own to build! P/S Mike, your from Nashua, I'm in Concord! Nice to see some "locals" you know?
  11. Here are a few updated pics of the A100, and its FRONT tracks..... The first things AFTER the frames are painted is the lower 2 rollers. These MUST be the first added, as they are the ones that will NOT tolerate any side to side play, OR up and down movement, they must be glued solid to the frames! I took GREAT care to see that this was the case, to date, 4 times! I have yet to do it again, 4 more times, for the 2 rear track frames! Showing the detail of the whole completed track, this one is for the front, drivers side track.... Showing a little of the track "tread" and direction the cleat follows! Notice, its looks as tho its upside down, and It really is! I did this for a reason. The tracks as you all know are on a monster truck, hence the cleat outside edges to be facing downward, this is for traction, in real life, on a tank they "bite" from the center, BUT have much more weight to get a good "grip" when in motion. On a monster truck not having the same amount of downward pressure, the outside edge would bit more, and allow the track to "ride" flat across, and this would give greater contact to the ground underneath it.... Shown from the back, this side will also be used as a "ladder" to get to the door for the driver to open! And the track natural "sag" over the carrier roller, this roller is rigid mounted and would only "spin" in real life, no deed for it to have a shock, or be "sprung" for tension, its merely to carry the track from the bottom roller to the top powered roller! This shot, shows a bit more of the tread and the cleats and how the natural sag is, on the track! This was merely possible to model (the natural sag) as the tracks are one cleat, or link at a time and is supported by a clip in the center (drive clip) to the outside hinge plates, that also have a pin in them for a bit more outer edge traction! This shows the 2 tracks, both fronts side by side.....You can see the purple paint on the rear of the track frame here, and to give an idea of what the whole BEAST is gonna look like when these are on the frame! More to follow! The second set of tracks are being assembled!
  12. So, Here again.... The "rollers" I've spoke about? I got them, painted, in that custom mix paint, that I've mentioned....I have them, as of this posting, the wheels are painted flat black. Not seen in the following picture. Then as I had mentioned, I got the back side of the track frames painted as well.... Once thats dry enough to "stick" it to a section of cardboard, I'll paint the front side of them and then once the whole works is dry, the whole thing will be hung for complete clear coating on both sides! See: I'm not real concerned with the scratches and such in the back side of these, or the fronts all that much as it is after-all going to taking a beating in competition, right? BUT it is however going to be cleaned up for "show" use..... ENJOY!
  13. -sorry everyone photo bucket is being a turd and won't "clear" up till the 14th of NEXT month, I'm dumping them this is ridiculous!!!! I been on there for almost 10 years and they were NEVER like this in the past, so.....Please come back and look as I'm working on re-loading the pics elsewhere and will try to re-load the URLs....
  14. Charger 500? a '69 I believe.....
  15. Not yet, I got a stump to get over but....once I do I'll have some progress on it, as that bump in the road, is a part, i'm trying to make and finding the correct mateirals has me stuck for now, BUT I'll find/locate something.....IN the mean time, I've been working on another started model......PLUS molding my own parts so, I'm still busy modeling so-to-speak!
  16. Welcome aboard Mark. I'm north of you in New Hampshire......
  17. WELL there ARE A FEW reasons things are missing!!!!! REMEMBER this A100 is for the Little Red Wagon, RACE truck~! They removed MOST of the emblems to lighten it for speed, This meaning the doors, on the REAL one were FIBERGLASS and had no "DODGE" emblems! ALSO why it has no gas tank fill cap....The fuel tank was not in the race truck, the "stock" versions has a tank yes, but this kit was designed strictly for the race version for Bill Golden's truck. remember this truck ALSO was changed 3 times over a span of almost 4 decades from 1964 to 2001 when it was retired....The engine too changed....it began as a cross ram intake, then to a hillborn injected intake to the last and final one it was supercharged.... So please, understand this model was created around a race truck, NOT a stock model as it should have been! WHY however the doors hinges are so big is easy........... the design, to make the model is really old, back then when it was a BRAND NEW model first offered for sale the opening doors then, gave it an even stronger sales pitch...BUT the crude design had to be strong to with stand children handling them, and thats why the hinges are so bit....HOWEVER the correct tools can make them work in scale, as I plan to on mine! Using the same factory given materials!
  18. On the Mopar forums its said to have this at the wheel, not the crank.....Also stated is that the '15 Hellcat Charger is 2 tenths of a second faster then the Challenger! Withthe same engine! BUT, its a completely different car next year!
  19. Some of the decals you guys do and make just confounds me.....I have no way to print decals (NO printer) BUT this makes me wonder....I love how all this looks! So.........GREAT JOB so far! (Needless to say for me, I too am a HUGE Mopar fan!)
  20. I guess.....Can't be no worse them me, there are a few of me around in the same city I live, one with the EXACT same name including middle name as well, the other 2, spell their last names with an "e" not an "o" so.........
  21. This is true, UNLESS you modify the top of the "Dog House" by adding glass, THEN you can see the engine under it....I plan to go through and "hinge" those I am doing withthe dog house in place for viewing purposes! BECAUSE, remember the doors also open as well to flip open the dog house (Even tho in real life, it had pressure clips that held the whole works in place for easy removal to maintenance the engine under it!)
  22. For Mopar it WASN'T a 302. THEY at Mopar any one of them, NEVER made a 302, Chevy did for the '69 model year as well as the "5.0" Ford that we all know.....The cross ram, for a Mopar was either a factory BIG BLOCK cross ram, for the 383 to 440....OR it was an aftermarket Mopar Small Block cross ram! The 426 WEDGE (NOT to be confused with the Hemi) was the last big block to get the Mopar Cross Ram of this sort. As it was known as the High RPM Cross Ram intake as they had another one that was known as the Sonaramic Cross Ram which is a whole other beast.....Mopar 413 was the first V-8 to get the Cross Ram which was the start of the Mopar known "Max-Wedge" series of engines....Consisting of only the 413, and the 426....The 383 just a year before was setting the stage for the 400 which was the precursor to the 413 fame! This all was prior to 1963....As in 1964, it all didn't matter when the 426 Hemi was born, 50 years ago, this year! As far as the car I LOVE the looks of the '70.....NICELY DONE whoever did the work!
  23. Any Mopar engines from the same guy by chance? He dopes GREAT work!
  24. Thats insane! I can't imagine this but I myself know a Tom Geiger, AND his son Tom as well so....Tom Jr. I thought maybe you were one of them! I can't image there are now 4 Tom Geiger's I know of! LOL Went to school with at least one of them! (Tom Jr.) Anyway then.....back to the model, any updates?
  25. The only way to "ride"..... BUT then ya gotthe other idea?????? I'd take either one of them! -THEY BOTH have "426 Hemi's" HELLO!?
