TJ, I sure do! Have a look: I got a 383 in mine, as its a stock G.I. eddition truck was a towing rig for the Army.....Right now however its apart at my step-sons garage as it needed a fuel line and I found while removing the original one that it needed the first and second cross members replaced, they weren't rusted through but were "soft" so.....While where it could sit long enough, wasn't a better time to do it! -
What cars interest you in resin 1/25
426-Hemi replied to 5.0man's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
I'd love to see MORE Mopar 50 and 60's cars done, some that fit the '58 Plymouth Belevedere frame....THAT would include opening hoods! then a '70 Coronet Wagon, AND a '70 Coronet 4 door be GREAT too! '71 Dodge Demon be nice too! Street stock for ALL of them! -
So TJ, your not going to use the Modern Era Hemi then?
-
The project, I understand, I'm not sure I see the point of the BMF on the panels....Just to represent bare metal on a car being "rebuilt" as a real one? OR to smooth the body itself?

One of the new Charger Daytona's I suspect, with that intake! Thats a New 6.1 Hemi as it looks....Which is why I say its not a '71 engine type, the 426 Hemi from the '60's and '70's is what you'd need to keep it period correct..... NOT that it looks bad mind you, just saying wrong era "Hemi" if you were trying to keep the period of the car correct, BUT, the new upgrade, would be a NICE change in an old car! This same engine, could be any one of the "new" Hemi's, 5.7 L (345C.I.D.), 6.1 L (370 C.I.D), or 6.4 L 392 C.I.D. EXCEPT the new "Hellcat" Hemi, its a 6.2, that was a sleeved 392, thats also supercharged.....Completely different beast! And Beast, it is! 900 Gross Horsepower, SAE rated 707 HP, to the road.....

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DALE, FRANK...... this is NUTZ! Young fella, yer funny........ LMAO I feel like an old !@#$%^& LOL Anyway, Yes Wayne, I have a 67 Power Wagon, its in my Step son shop right now as I had to replace the fuel line (was factory from '67) and found wehile doing that it had 2 soft cross members first andsecond ones, so they were replaced....Its going back together so I can catch the last 2 truck pulls of the season one in Berlin, NH and I think the other (he told me of) is in Mt. Vernon, at some point in the beginning of November, BUT we'll see, its been "down" since spring.....SO....I wanna drive it again! I just got the thing last June so..... -

Dodge A100 Dually rebuild
426-Hemi replied to 1320wayne's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
NICE!!!!!!!!!!! The first build of the A100 looks to have a Mopar 273 in it from the actual kit thats had some "bling" added to it..... The dualie wheels give it a whole other look tho.... what ya use for a rear in it? Difficultto see with the mufflers on the under side view! -
I'm a molder too. and So far, I have all the Mopar LA engines made, and a general block casting for the B/RB blocks as well as the 426 Hemi, along with supporting details for each.....Both standard 833 and Automatic 727 and 904 transmissions.....All 1/25th scale! I'm lookingfor a Diesel to go under the hood of a Dodge Ram 2500 to 3500 thats gonna be a street "Dualie" but......It came with the Viper V-10 and all as its a VTS Ram and I got a nice Dualie bed to use on it so..... The V-10 for this build, just don't apeal to me! What ya get for a Cummins 5.9 these days? I'd do some trading for one....

The Vandal - My Take
426-Hemi replied to Jonathan's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
-I've always wondered aboutthis kit. what "van" was it actually based off of? I know I'm a Mopar fanatic, BUT it looks as tho its a Dodge or something (I could be wrong) cause I see a little Ford in there as well as a Chevy line here and there as well..... What was this made from in real 1:1 scale? Odd unit, but interesting "Custom" I'm NOT bashingi t here everyone, just tryin to figure it out! And yes the Inca gold looks AWESOME on it! -
