  7. Nice. Shows the elegant lines of the original car perfectly. steve
  8. This was drawn for me by my 9 year old granddaughter, Harper. The words say “from harper your addicted to cats” That’s me in the middle with our 2 cats, Olly and Toffy. Olly has a halo and wings as she’s in heaven. (We lost her last year.) This drawing means a lot to me. steve
  9. Totally agree. I would rather build a 'Drag Strip Hot Rod' or 'Indianapolis Racer' than a new issue. Nostalgia is probably a factor I guess... steve
  10. I have, today, been gifted this collection of parts and built ups. There’s no way I will ever get through the parts and I have no use for the built items. steve
  11. Thanks. She’s called Toffy Age - Double figures at the very least. We got her as a rescue 10 years ago. The vet said 2-3 years when we took her in for jabs and chipping then. steve
  12. New bedding, old cat! steve
  13. A tool known in the UK as a Birmingham screwdriver… steve ?
  14. Great work x2 on one of the best looking cars the US has ever produced. steve
  15. Knowing his wife, he would be minus the Ferrari and most everything else if she caught him with another woman in it... steve
  16. I have a part built/stalled project version of that Lindberg Tub sitting in the 'one day I'll get it finished' pile. ? steve
  17. Next door neighbour rolled this out of his garage this morning. He complained about the lack of storage space in it. ? Good for 211mph it seems... steve PS Not him in the pic!
  18. A lot of vehicles turning round, because their drivers didn’t read/believe the Road Closed sign that warns the village’s river bridge is shut. steve
  19. I am slowly assembling a collection of 1/87 pre-1970 B&Ws. The Buick arrived today to join the other 3. Strictly speaking, if I want to have one on my North Michigan layout, it has to be the Mercury as it is just labelled as Police, whereas the others have specific force logos. Even the Merc is tenuous, as Michigan police cars were a darkish blue in my period, late 1950s. I’m looking for a 1957 Fairlane in 1/87 for better accuracy on the layout. Thanks for looking. steve
